Oscar, an eggplant, longs to join the singing fruits and vegetables in the refrigerator. When a banana named Jessica arrives, Oscar is excited but frustrated by her silence. Eventually, they become friends, but their relationship is tested when a talkative strawberry named Shortcake enters the picture.
