Once upon a time, there was a tiny flame burning in an old wooden cottage. It watched the life of a loving family. It noticed that one of the children enjoys running very much. The boy was fit and agile. The flame wanted to be like him.

They were surrounded by athletes coming for a competition in Beijing. The little flame and the young boy went to visit Beijing. When they arrived near a field, they saw children playing a game. This game is played with a racket and a funny white ball with feathers. The little flame went near them and asked them: “What are you playing?

- We play a very popular Olympic sport in China called badminton, answered the children. It is played with a racket and a shuttlecock. You have to send the shuttlecock to the other side of the net. Your opponent has to send it back and if the shuttlecock touches the ground, you win a point.

- Can I play with you? asked the little flame.

"We will take you with us. Do not worry!" they answered. They were flying over the Indian Ocean. It was hotter and hotter. They decided to have a rest. The birds saw a big island and wanted to land on it. They found a safe place on the beach. Suddenly, there came a school trip from J. B. Bossard School. The children decided to....

managed to grasp the flame and escape from the island.

After a long flight they finally reached Canada. Everyone was

safe and sound. The flame remembered the hotel’s address

where she was supposed to meet Lin Dan so the birds left her

outside the building. Although she was waiting for a long time

the sportsman didn’t show up. The flame was really

disappointed when suddenly …

The birds took her and flew up in the sky again. The little flame continued its journey. It arrived in England. After a long journey through the Channel Tunnel and several hours on the road, the little flame arrived happily in London.She took the opportunity to visit some famous places and was amazed by the Buckingham Palace and its guards. After a long look at the Thames, she decided to go for a walk in the London eye. She took a boat to visit Tower Bridge. How impressive!
She really wanted to try racing a bike. So she approached and asked: "Before I go on my way, would it be possiblefor me to do a race with you?
She was very disappointed but it was so true. Then a cyclist who had heard everything suggested that she take shelter behind her cap.
Now it was time for the little flame to continue on her way to a new adventure. Suddenly...
