Leafy the leave, lived at the top of a tree. 3
You wouldn't believe what he can see. 4
Up near the sky, he can watch balloons go by. 5
His friends were birds, bees and squirrels. 6
He plays above the boys and girls. 7
He can see incredible sights...Once...he saw a kite!

But then, one night...it got so cold that lots of the leaves turned to gold.

Some were red, some were brown...and they all jumped together to the ground.

And Leafy wondered: what should I do? Should I jump to the ground too?

But he was scared! And didn't want to go That is when the wind started to blow...

A wise owl said: go on Leafy, take the chance!There is a big world down below. You might like it, you never know.

Lots of things to see. There's more alive than just this tree!

Leafy wasn't sure what to believe. He was so afraid to leave!

Then, much to his surprise, the wind tore Leafy away...

And he started to go around...Leafy saw a whole new world.

There were houses and buildings... All of them incredible sights!!

He had never had so much fun! Then, through a window he suddenly span

There was a boy in the room taking a nap 20
Who Leafy woke up when touched his leg 21
The boy asked: Leafy, do you like this place? 22
And Leafy said: I am all alone...23
The boy said: stay at my home!24
And he put Leafy in this book25
Where all his friends could come and look 26
Leafy said: it is the best present a leaf could receive!
