     Our world has succumbed to the epidemic that is spreading rapidly with each passing day. People had to stay in their homes for months to stay protected from the epidemic for a long time. As a result of vaccines and treatments found after a long time, life started to slowly return to normal. Schools were opened, Osman was very happy to go to school, he missed his friends and teacher very much. On the first day of school, Ayşe Melek teacher introduced the  coding education to  children. 

          Osman loved the coding board. They worked on the board with their friends all day long. Osman thought about what he was doing at school until he got home. "Mommy, "we learned coding education at school today," he said excitedly when he came home. Our teacher has created a board for us. He told her mother "We created colorful shapes, flowers and figures on the board. " He said.

         Ayşe Melek teacher said, "Osman, this is a very good idea. It is very subtle that you have thought of your other friends. If you want, we can 

make a project for this. "She said. Osman was very happy to hear this.

        Ayşe Melek teacher started preparations. She created the coding 

board, teasers, photos, and videos. She presented her project to the 

District National Education Directorate. Many schools demanded the 

project. Meetings were held with these schools. The project was made 

comprehensive and invitations were sent to European schools. Slovakia 

was the first country to respond to this invitation. Daniela teachers and 

students were included in this project.

   Ayşe teacher gathered the children in the classroom and said the following. “Thanks to your friend Osman, we started a nice project, many schools from the district participated in our project, and the biggest surprise is that Slovakia country from Europe will also be included in our project. Let's watch a video promoting Slovakia together. “At the end of the video, the kids liked Slovakia very much. Osman "Teacher, I was very curious about Slovakia, can we go there?" said. Ayşe teacher said, “Osman, you took this coding job very seriously, I want to assign you a task. I want you to go to the schools involved in our project and introduce our board to them. “She said. Osman also did not offend the teacher and accepted this offer.

     The next day, a new surprise awaited Osman. Ayşe Melek teacher had prepared a coding fabric and a mascot. Osman would show his journey to schools on this fabric on the coding fabric with the help of arrow signs.

Ayşe Melek said that I am explaining his duty to teacher Osman.

      “Osman, we agreed with the teachers in charge of the project, you will visit a school every day and prepare our coding board with your friends there, and you will organize activities on the board. The school and teachers that you will visit in turn are like this, ”he said.

        Osman was very excited about his new assignment. As he thought of what he was going to do, he was very happy. The next day and the days that followed, Osman visited a school every day. He met his new friends. The teachers greeted him with a smile. He did many activities on the board with his new friends in each class. (Numbers, contrasting concepts, color studies, letter studies, object studies e.t.c) He did not forget to introduce the coding fabric and mascot to his friends with these activities. Together with their friends, they determined the direction of the mascot on the fabric.

            Osman finished his duties and came to his own school and explain his experiences to her teacher and friends. It was a very good experience for him. Now it was time to travel to Slovakia.  Ayşe Melek teacher said to Osman. “Osman, I cannot send you abroad due to the epidemic, but we can send your mascot and fabric to the teacher Daniela in Slovakia. Osman was upset that he could not go, but the mascot was with Osman during his mission. They made the progress on the fabric with their friends. The mascot deserved to go to Slovakia. He was very happy for this.

Ayşe Melek teacher and Osman made the mascot and other materials together. Osman  contacted the Daniele teacher. He took his address from Daniela. Ayşe Melek and Osman teacher went to the post office together and gave the package to the cargo. By cargo, the mascot went on a journey to Slovakia.

    Teacher Daniela took the package from the post office. She called all the children in the class and told them they had a surprise from abroad. They read the sender's address on the package envelope. Together they searched the map for Turkey, where the package came from. Teacher Daniel introduced the children to Osman's mascot. The children communicate with him immediately. They looked at the plan of Osman's trip to Slovakia. With the mascot, they tried out the route on the arrows and completed them to the finish line. They really liked the game. To learn more about Turkey, they looked at videos and photographs prepared by teacher Daniel. Some children visited Turkey with their parents. They shared experiences from this beautiful landscape.

Together, we thought about the questions that the children and teacher Özlem ECE asked. Kids have a lot of favorite games. They love lego, sports, dance, they like to play theater, but they like to do activities on the code board. There is a lot of snow in our country in winter. Then the children build snowmen, ski and skate. They visit ski resorts. The most famous is in the High Tatras, which is an important place of tourism in Slovakia. We answered Osman many more questions.

We agreed that we would also like to visit Turkey. Osman helped Daniel and showed the children photos and video from all the schools in the project. The children were thrilled to be doing tasks together with the Turkish children.

Osman will be in Slovakia for a while. The children are preparing a souvenir for Osman. They take care of him every day and it will be difficult to say goodbye to him. However, teacher Daniel explains to them that everyone has only one home. Osman must return to his friends and family. We send heartfelt greetings from Slovakia to students and teachers.
