After Jordan, Techkids decided to go to Urfa to the zero point of time, to see Göbeklitepe which was built 12000 years ago. It was an interesting visit to be on the world's oldest temple in the known history that stayed intact. Techkids wondered how these ancient people lived. Techkids thought this place was very mysterious.

Did you know that they had hidden the temple under the soil to prevent possible attacks from the enemies?

Techkids are now in Gaziantep which is the "Gastronomy Capital of Turkey" famous for its kebab, lahmacun and baklava. Also authentic items are sold in the old bazaar. Here, they witness a very friendly and warm welcome from its people wherever they go. The setting is very impressive.

I'm getting hungry. Lets try kebab, lahmacun and baklava. I promissed my mother to buy her native authentic items.

After Gaziantep Techkids go to Konya to learn about the whirling dervish Mevlana Rumi who wrote his famed poetry here in the 13th century and also to see his tomb and museum. Techkids are offered special sweets originated from the Ottaman culture which they liked very much.

I really would like to learn more about Mevlana and his call to the humanity.

Then Techkids move to Ankara which is a very old city located at the heart of both Turkey and Central Anatolia. Techkids went to “Anıtkabir”, which is the monumental mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk who selected Ankara as the capital of Turkey. Techkids also decided to visit Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.

Lets go to the Atakule Tower to watch Ankara from a high sight seeing point.
