Jack is an eleven years old boy. He is at 6th grade at the school. He likes his school and his friends very much. He likes going to school and meeting with his friends. He likes playing football in the garden with his friends. (Kıvanç Erciyes College)

One day Jack feels bad in the evening at home. His family take him to the hospital. The doctor examine Jack. He wants blood test from Jack. After the blood test they undertand, Jack has got a Covid. Jack is very sad. He misses his friends and even his teachers. He wants to play with his friends in the school garden. His mother tries to help him. 

She plays with him. They play cards, then dance and sing together or read some books. Jack’s mother has a brilliant idea: they cook Jack’s favourite cake.

Jack enjoys mixing ingredients! He is very good at cooking. 

Jack spends his days playing, reading books and cooking for his family.

The days of his illness pass slowly, and Jack is very bored of his loneliness, as his father wants to change his psyche and suggests that he talks to his friends via video calls after returning from school, to help him to get over the boredom. 

After two weeks, Jack recovers, and his friends decide to visit him, Jack best friend calls his mother to set a date for the visit, and the mother asks, them not to shake hands with Jack and to sit far away to protect himself from infection.

Jack is inspired by world chefs. However, the photos of the dishes are his biggest inspiration. He says ‘A good photo tells me that I immediately decide to bake a cake or cook a dish. That is why I pay a lot of attention to photography too. I run not only a culinary channel but also a blog with photos of my delicious dishes. Well-taken photos of food... rise popularity. Jack is so happy and busy with his Youtube channel but there is a big problem.He just takes care of his channel and never plays his kitten or talks his friends, even William. One day, he receives an offer from a TV channel.He is suprised and wants to share this news with William.He calls William but he doesn’t answer the phone.Jack decides to share this news with his parents.Jack’s parents are at work. Jack looks forward to dinner time. Jack waits a long time but his parents doesn’t come.He starts to get nervous.A few hours later their parents comes with his kitten Lily. He feels confident thanks to Button Prize then he wants to try his fortune in the “MasterChef” again.  A month later, William gives the surprise news to Jack; he will join the contest. He feels very excited on the competition day. However he can not be successful in the competition. He is not very sorry because  he believes he did his best. During the pandemic days he is satisfied with learning new things. But he misses talking face to face with his friends and hugging them like good old days.
