Far from the galaxy, there was a bright red car that lived on the car planet.This car’s name was Glossie.She was so arrogant that she had no friends around her.For this reason, she decided to move to the planet Earth.

After completing her preparations,she set out for Earth.As she was approaching Earth,a meteorite hit her.The fuel tank began to empty ,so she had to land at the nearest place.When she came to herself ,she could not believe her eyes.

          Her surroundings glowed. She rubbed his eyes. 

She tried to understand where she was. The flashing lights 

dazzled her eyes and everything was moving, 

She wanted to pack herself up and get up. But she was 

hurt a lot from the hard landing she had made. She took a little breath and moved. Yes, this was a luna park. 

How happy everyone was! After a little wandering, 

She caught sight of cars like her own. What were they doing? 

Are they hitting each other all the time? Didn't they get hurt? he thought.

        There were rules on Glossie's planet. Nobody would be hurt because the rules were followed. While Glossie was thinking, "Isn't there a rule for protecting beings in the world?", she saw a child coming towards her. The boy said that "Mom, please I want to play with this car." His Mother said that "Son, we had a rule. You were going to play with two toys and you played. Now we have to go home."

        Glossie followed the boy and his mother on their way to their home. She thought  she could be friends with this boy. The boy and his mother came out of the park. They stopped in front of a lighting device on the roadside. The red light was on. Glossie wondered what was happening.,

    The boy and his mom waited for the light until it  turned to green. Glossie waited with them too. When the light turned green, they started to walk across the road and Glossie followed them. But something happened while Glossie was crossing the road. The Cars which were waiting on the road, started to yell her. She couldn’t understand first and stop in the middle of the road. Then the boy noticed Glossie and he turned and said: 

-Hey! Little Car come towards immediately. You can’t stop there. 

Glossie listened to him and she drove next to her new friend and asked:

- Why did they yell me like this?. I didn’t understand that whereas obey the rules like you. The rules are important in my planet.

Then the boy explanied :

Glossie understood that in this world the rules were different from hers . But still she didn’t know what the rules for cars were.

    The boy and Glossie looked at each other for a long time at first.The boy was surprised that a car could talk to him.Then he looked at Glossie and said; "How do you understand what I'm saying? You are not like the cars in our world."Glossie: 

   -"My name is Glossie.I come from the car planet far from the Galaxy.This place is not like our country at all."

    -"Welcome to our world,Glossie, I am John.Nice to meet you."

     Glossie; "John why did the cars shouted at me?"

John started telling.

-Dear Glossie, here on earth, people live together with vehicles. The movement of people, animals and vehicles on the highway is called traffic. Traffic has rules. These rules are different for people who are pedestrians, and different for vehicles which are driven by people. They yelled at you because you followed us on the pedestrian way while you should have been stopping at the light with other cars, because you are a car.

Glossie couldn't believe what she heard, apparently the rules  were completely different from her planet. He thought he'd never learn the rules. John said he could teach her anything, but he asked her to park first.Because it wasn't right for them to stand here.At this time, his mother called John. John invited Glossie to their house. When they returned home, John took Glossie to the garage and began explaining the traffic rules. Glossie was listening to him carefully, but she had a hard day.She couldn't take it anymore and fell asleep.

Glossie wanted to travel all over the city and get to know this new country. Glossie set out to wander all the streets, the avenues. She started following other cars. While she was on the road she saw a lot of signs on the sides of the road in different shapes and colors, with different  signs on them. She was very curious about the meaning of these signs, but what were these signs for? She should have learn what these signs mean. Because she was so afraid of doing something wrong. For this, she first wanted to go to John and talk to him. As she was driving on the road, she saw that the red light of the traffic light was on for cars and stopped. She was very happy now that he knew the meaning of this sign. She thought, "I wish I knew the meaning of all the signs." Pedestrians were crossing at that time. Glossie saw that a passing car did not stop at the red light and was heading towards pedestrians crossing. Glossie was so scared that she woke up crying.

When John heard the shouting, he run towards his friend and said:” Don’t worry, you are safe here! If you want to learn how to move safely you should go to the school. There you will learn all the signs and the traffic rules. So it was!

The other day, after coming from the driving school, she already knew the meaning of each sign.  But, suddenly, she noticed a new sign… she didn’t know it…

The traffic was a mess and all the cars were going around to find their way! /were looking for their way! After thinking a lot, Glossie decided to follow the instructions to John’s house.  Finally, she arrived home and she met Alfred, John’s father! Glossie was too tired, and she needed a bath and some care.

Realizing how his son’s friend was, Alfred decided to help her. He took Glossie to a fuel station to take care of her: treat the wound caused by the meteorite, have a relaxing bath and a delicious dinner! Feeling much better and recovered, she went home, rested on the sofa and slept till the next day. When she woke up, she was very excited to go to the school again to learn more about driving on the planet earth. By the end of the day, on her way home, she saw the octagonal sign that forces to stop and let everyone pass. Now, Glossie feels happy and safe! Feeling confident, Glossie invited John’s family for a trip, in the weekend.

Now, she was able to take all the family for a long trip driving very attentive and carefully. “Do you want to go for a ride?” Glossie asked.   “Yes, yes! Hey, hey!” – they shouted. They decided to go on their trip next Sunday. They all felt great and happy.After a long time driving, John said “Look! Glossie is the fastest car…” “Safety should come first! Most importantly, follow the rules…Speed does not matter!”- John’s father explained. Glossie took them to a beautiful city nearby. They stopped at a viewpoint and admired the wonderful landscape! The night was coming and they decided to go back home. They were very happy but tired. They prepared themselves to go to bed while Glossie was in the garage resting. Suddenly, she received a signal and she saw a hologram… It was her home planet King. He explained: “We missed you a lot and we need you at the car planet. Our planet is suffering a big environmental calamity and the cars are ill…”

The next morning, she explained to John and his family what happened the previous night. She explained that she had to go back to her planet in order to help her old friends to fight the disaster that had been caused. John didn't want her to leave but he knew she had to help them. "Thank you for everything" she said to the family. Then she took off for her home planet. When she finally landed to her old home town she couldn't believe her eyes. The problem was that their rules had stopped applying to them resulting many car crushes and environmental problems from their gases.

       She got home safely, but she was very upset by what had happened. Her experience on planet Earth helped her solve the problems she had on her planet. He fondly remembered where his family had been, always hoping to return to them.
