As the friends set up camp, Hoofy lay by the
riverside to rest, while Sammy lay streched out
on top of him while Tommy sat on the tent and
gazed at the sky, wondering if the eagle would
come back. Stanley and Hare were busy
talking to a monkey who had sat down on a
rock drinking water and leaning against a tree.
They were saying, "Do you know this jungle
well?" "Yes." "Why are you just sitting here in
the shade and drinking water all this time?" "It
is very hot in the Amazon, so i do not want to
do too much in the hot sun." " This is the
Amazon?!?!" "Yes."

On one side of the tent Tommy sat chopping
cheese and bread and setting them on plates
and filling mugs with milk.

And this side is where the friends ate their
bread, nibbled their cheese, slurped their milk,
talked, laughed, and shared stories. But they
didn't notice Hare was gone.

When Hare was out walking, he was thinking
"Man my ears hurt. Why won't they just keep
quiet? Do they know how sensitive my ears
are?" Suddenly Hare heard a voice. "Relax
duude you'll get used to it." Hare thought
"What the..." Hare saw a flash of grey light
and suddenly BOOM!

A grey fox sprang out of the leaves, grabbed
Hare by the ears, and took off running.

The grey fox takes Hare to his den and throws
him on the floor of the den. he says "Here
Felix" "Fred you idiot i told you not to get this
kind come on let's go return him"

Meanwhile, at the tent, everybody was stacked
up and looking for Hare and even monkey
helped, leaving his cup on top of the tent.

The two foxes had come with Hare riding on
Felix's back. Just as soon they had dropped
Hare they began saying "We come in peac-"
but as soon as they said that, Tommy came
along and said "Any sign of Har-" and then he
noticed Hare on the ground so he said "Oh hi
Hare where have you bee-?" As soon as
Tommy saw the foxes, he growled "YOU DARE
TAKE HIM!!!" and the foxes ran far, far, far
away and never came back.
