Hi,I am Giacomo!

Hi,I am Elisa!

     Giacomo  and his mum (Elisa) live in a small town.  Giacomo is a very sweet little boy. His mother,  Elisa, is an English teacher. Elisa is a perfect mother. They are very happy. 

  Their house is near the forest. There are lots of fruit trees around their farm.  Giacomo loves animals, especially  cats  but he loves dogs ,too.  He wants to adopt a dog from the local animal shelter but his mother doesn't let him adopt öne.

His father is an excellent farmer.     

 Giacomo sometimes helps his father on the farm.There are a lot of horses on the farm. Giacomo loves riding a horse but one of them is too energetic. It is not easy to ride it .            

Its name is Rodeo.

Being in a farm teaches Giacomo a lot. He learns about chickens,     eggs  and how baby chicks grow inside of eggs. He can observe  how chicks develop and how they get  food and how they  grow. He feeds the chicks, too. It is not difficult.

The horses are more tiring.They are very big and especially Rodeo is a different horse. He always runs away from the farm.

One day Rodeo runs away from the farm again and enters the forest... Giacomo runs after Rodeo for about an hour .

Giacomo follows him in the deep forest but Rodeo is too fast to catch. He tries to go back to the farm but there are trees everywhere. 

Rodeo the energetic horse, finds a friend in the forest and does not want to go back to the farm. 

He wants to run freely in nature. Giacomo feels sad and frightened. He starts to miss his family, his friends and the animals of the farm.

HELPPPP 

HELP!!!

It is getting darker and darker and it is raining.

Giacomo is not only sad but also frightened. It is very COLD .       Giacomo is really hopeless. He is screaming in the dark and asking for help.

It is not the way home             wherever he tries to keep going. In the end, he gets tired and falls asleep.

He gets up and sees a dog next to him. The dog         is very sweet, lovely and friendly too. He wants to be friend with Giacomo.

Giacomo is not frightened now. He is not alone in the forest .          They begin to walk together. They walk, walk and walk... The dog and Giacomo are very hungry and thirsty.   

Giacomo's parents are in a panic. They are looking for Giacomo and the horse, Rodeo. They can guess he is lost in the forest but the forest is so large. They can't find their son and their horse by themselves. So they ask their neighbours for some help ,they accept to look for Giacomo. They are good neighbours and they start to look for them all together.

They are walking and shouting :"Giacomooo" and "Rodeooo" but they can't find any clue. 

Their voices echo in the deep forest. Elisa is crying. 

She wants to find her son as soon as possible. 

As time passes her hope is fading. 

At that time his mother-Elisa - notices Giacomo's shoe on the ground. He cannot be very far from that point.  

The sun is  about to shine. Giacomo and the dog are walking in the forest. They hear the noise of a river near them. Giacomo's one shoe is lost and it is not easy to walk in the forest without shoes. His face and feet are very dirty. They  can find the river in the end and Giacomo wants to wash his face and feet.

Help!!!!!!

He runs to the river quickly.

Unfortunately, his foot slips and he falls into the river and Giacomo disappears in the falls. The dog barks and barks but there is no answer from Giacomo. The dog cannot see Giacomo for a few seconds, no answer from Giacomo, so he doesn't think and he jumps into the water.

Group 6 ''RABBITS'' presents:

He dives deep and he can find Giacomo. He helps Giacomo so he can get out of the river.  The dog saves Giacomo's life! 

''Dogs are perfect friends.''Giacomo thinks...

He thinks : ''I am very lucky. I am alive''. He hugs the dog and thanks him .

He pats the dog's head and says : ''Thank you my friend. You are a hero!'' The dog understands and barks with happiness.

They start to walk again. They are trying to find a way near the road. Giacomo is very cold and his clothes are wet. They are still hungry and tired.

 They find an apple tree in the forest but it was too high for the dog. Giacomo picks some apples and they eat a lot of apples. They are not hungry anymore. They feel more energetic.

The boy says: ''Forests are great. There are fruits, water and sun. We should protect  forests.'' 

He sees a squirrel and gives it an apple. The squirrel eats it, thanks him and runs away. 

Giacomo says to the  dog: ''Do you see my friend? Forests are homes for all animals even for insects or for lions, squirrels,birds...''  

Giacomo's family and neighbours are still looking for him. They are exhausted but they don't give up searching the little boy. 

The neighbour girl Lolly says, "Why don't we search them in groups?"

"It is a good idea" answers Elisa.

So there are two groups now:Lolly,her grandpa and Macron are in the same group and Giacomo's dad and mom are in the other group. They go on different ways.

The squirrel is watching Giacomo's parents on a tree. He hears everything and he remembers: "A lost boy and the dog! They must be his parents."

The little squirrel wants to help them and jumps down in front of Elisa. He moves his body, jumps and shouts... Elisa looks at the squirrel and says : "The squirrel wants to say something."

Her husband agrees. And they start to follow the squirrel. It is small but fast. The squirrel takes the parents near the apple trees. Giacomo is not there.

Elisa cries and hugs her husband. Suddenly they hear a barking of a dog. The noise is not coming from far. Then the dog runs towards the parents and then comes Giacomo. He looks tired, he runs and hugs his dad and mom. They are happy and Giacomo tells his parents everything. 

He says: 'This is a great dog. He is my hero. I am alive because he saved my life.'

In the end, the family adopts the dog and gives him the name Lupen.
