Water droplets float peacefully in oceans, seas, rivers and lakes. When it gets warm, the drops begin their journey.

Strongly warming sun rays cause the water to transform into water vapor and is released into the atmosphere.

High up, the combined water vapor forms clouds. on these clouds, condensation travels over the earth.

There comes a moment when the drops fall to the ground in the form of rain. When it is frost, the drops turn into snowflakes. They can also turn into hail.

Water drops that will fall on soil, soak into it. They squeeze through various gaps. If there is a lot of water, streams can form, which will flow to the surface of the earth in the form of a spring. Streams flowing from the mountains form a river that flows into the sea. And when the sun is shining, the drops will start their journey again.

Everyone knows that nothing tastes like a glass of cool water on a hot day.

My name is Pola and today I will tell you about my adventures.

My adventure begins in a certain garden, in a city whose name I do not remember anymore. lying on a flower petal, I dreamed of how fun it would be to fly. I would like to be a butterfly or a ladybug and admire the world from above. The sun was warming up very much, and I was getting smaller and smaller and I felt myself start to go up.

I turned into a pair and lived in a large cloud with other droplets.

One day the cloud became heavy and my friends and I started falling on flowers, trees and the ground.

I fell into a cold mountain stream.

I swam for a long time through the thick green forest.

Suddenly the stream turned into a river.

I finally got to the seaside.

And there it got terribly hot and I felt myself getting smaller and smaller again - turning to steam again and floating above the water.

I lived in the cloud again. There were a lot of us here.

We were able to admire the world from above, which seemed very small.

One day it got so cold.

This time I fell in the mountains as white snow.

Some time has passed and the world is getting warmer, the sun was shining longer and longer, the first flowers were coming out from under the snow, and I dreamed again how cool it would be to be a butterfly ...

And where does the water in our homes come from?

There is a very high demand for drinking water in the world, so people have to use all its sources.

Water from lakes and rivers?

Such water is often treated.

It is cleaned in a filter station to make it fit for consumption.
