During the Chinese New Year holiday in 2022, I went to many restaurants with my mom, dad, sister, grandma and cousin Hank. First, we ate/had fish because
it means that

have money
every year.

Next, we had apples because they mean that everyone will be safe. 

平平安安 (Ping Ping An An)

They look like ice cream, and taste sweet salty.

Then, we ate oranges because they mean that everyone will be lucky.

大吉大利 (Da Gi Da Li)

They look like gold, 

and taste sweet and sour.

Next, we met my friend called Natalie and we exchanged red envelopes. I felt very happy and excited.
