in the middle of it that produces light as it slowly burns.

CAPTAIN: The person in charge of a ship or an aircraft.

CARBUNCLE:A dark red precious stone.

 DEER: An animal with long legs, that eats leaves, grass etc. and can run fast.

DEMON: An evil spirit. 

DIAMOND: A clear colourless  precious stone

DUCK: A common bird  that lives  on or near water with short legs

SLIGHT:Small in amount or degree.

SOUND:Something that you can hear or that 

can be heard.

STREET : a road in a city or town that has buildings that are usually close together along one or both sides 

TAX: (an amount of) money paid to the government that is based on your income or the cost of goods or services you have bought

TREE: a tall plant that has a wooden trunk and branches that grow from its upper part

WATER: a clear liquid, without colour or taste, that falls from the sky as rain and is necessary for animal and plant life

WHEN: (adverb, conjunction) at what time; at the time at which 

WINDOWS: a space usually filled with glass in the wall of a building or in a vehicle, to allow light and air in and to allow people inside the building to see out

WITCH: a woman who is believed to have magical powers and who uses them to harm or help other people
