There was a spring morning. Father Bear asked his son:
- My son, do you know what is the best way for a happy day?
Small Bear smiled and answered:
- Rolling down from a hill.

Father Bear held his son up in the air.
- Ha, ha! Yes, it can help indeed. But the best way for a happy day is to be held by someone.
Father Bear in the pantry was looking for his favourite honey, when he heard a question:
- Daddy, what what going and hugging Mr. Beaver?
- I would say, what are we waiting for?!
On the way to Mr, Beaver they were talking about very pleasant things, they admired the nature around and wondered what is better: to be a father to such a brave and clever son, or to be a son of such a wise and strong father.
Mr. Beaver was surprised. He was busy and didn't expect any quests.
- Can I help you?
He asked when he noticed the bears.
- Yes! We came to hug you, dear neighbour.
- Do you want to hug me? Why?
- To make your day better.
Answered Small Bear and his father smiled widely.
Mr. Beaver didn't know what to think of it. Because he wanted to come to his work as soon as possible, he agreed for one small HUG.
In the evening when he was going to sleep, he admitted that his neighbours are a little bit eccentric, but really kind.

- Daddy, do you think Mr. Beaver liked it?
Father Bear tousled his son's head.
- Don't worry, I am sure he liked it. Every hug is good for everybody.
They were on their way home, when suddenly
a Small Bear asked:
- Daddy, why don't we hug somebody else?
Father Bear laughed.
- I can see, You like it.
Miss Weasel was swinging and reading a very interesting book when she heard:
- Excuse me, can we hug YOU?
She was frightened and stood up very fast.
- Oh, you frightened me.
Small Bear said sorry and then together with his Dad hugged Miss Weasel as strong as the bears can.
When they were moving away, Miss Weasel wasn't frightened any more, she was moved very much.
Next they hugged two hares eating carrots.
Next to a stream they met an old moose drinking water. They joined him as they were thirsty too. Small Bear introduced himself and asked politely if they could hug him.
- Did I understand you? Do you want to hug me?
But why do you want to hug
such an old moose like me?
- Because this can cause
that you will have a very
happy life.
- You have amused me, little boy. So, hug me, please. But very precisely! - Added the moose.
- I want to have a very happy life.
The Bears hugged him
perfectly and left him
happy, and went away.
When they were walking through the forest and listening to the birds singing, Father Bear put his finger on his mouth and went to a small woodlet. Small Bear followed him. They saw a hunter watching the forest through the binoculars.
- Daddy, - whispered Small Bear, - do you think we can hug him?
- I think we should hug him. Answered Father Bear.

They hugged the hunter very precisely.
- This shotgun, - said Father Bear when they were leaving, - we will take to keep it safely.
- Just in case, - added Small Bear.
- Of course, just in case. - Said the hunter happily.
The evening was coming, while they were coming home full of energy and happy.
- It was a great day, Daddy!
Father Bear agreed.
Small Bear picked up an oak leaf and made a plane with it.
- Do you think we can do it again?
- I am sure we will make a similar trip again. - Answered Father Bear.

On their way home they managed to hug quite a lot of animals.
A stork.
A fox.
Small boars.

They were almost at home when Small Bear knocked himself into the forehead.
- Daddy, we forgot about someone!?
Father Bear stopped, looked at his son, breathed deeply, counted all animals in the forest. 'It looks like we hugged all of them' - he thought.
- Are you sure we forgot about someone?
- Of course, Daddy!
Father Bear counted all animals again and he was sure they didn't miss anyone.
- I give up, my son. You can shot me and I won't remind myself! Who didn't we hug???

-
Small Bear jumped on his father's neck very fast.
- We didn't hug each other, Daddy!
They laughed kindly, and then they hugged each other as strongly and precisely as they could.
The end
