One afternoon at the South Pole, the penguins gathered for their leader to speak to them. Some time ago they started seeing some strange clouds in the sky. But they noticed that the icebergs began to disappear.

So they decided to go on a long trip to the North Pole and see what happened to the icebergs and the strange clouds. They immediately ran to get ready for the long journey.
They prepared a map to know the route to follow. Ten penguins would go to the North Pole. After getting ready they got in line to start.

The ten penguins studied the map and noted the route they had to take to the North Pole. The leader of the penguin colony was very worried about the difficulties of the route and told the ten penguins:
"The journey to the North Pole is very difficult so you will have to train for a week and then you will have an endurance test to see if you are ready for this journey. Those who succeed in passing the test will embark on this journey".

So they started training. One week they trained very hard. They ice skated so they could go faster.

So they started training. One week they trained very hard. They ice skated so they could go faster.
They also swam to be able to cross the rivers and seas they would encounter.

At the end of the week they lined up to take the test. To pass the test they would each have to swim around Antarctica, run 100 kilometers and pick up 3 blue whales.
They lifted sea elephants and blue whales in their hands to become stronger.

As a result of the test only five penguins were able to successfully complete the exam . They made their final preparations to embark on the journey .The emperor penguin leader was the strongest and he told them how to create a route.

The trip to the North Pole will have to be postponed. We need more time for practise to get all ten penguins ready. One of the penguins – Jo Jo – offered to invite his friend - the great whale To Tu - on the trip. To Tu is big, strong and will be able to help if the penguins encounter dangers while traveling.
Whale To Tu asked: ''will we all swim 100 km together from dawn to dusk? Will the trip take 200 days?''

With the leader penguin in the front and the big whale To Tu in the back, the penguins swam in the ocean for 10 days. On the evening of the 10th day, they encountered 5 walruses and 5 polar bears. One of the polar bears was cooking beautiful, fresh salmon from the ocean for dinner.

For dinner, they invited penguins and the big whale To Tu to their table. They had a good night's sleep after dinner. At sunrise, they left having the best wishes from the walruses and polar bears. They still had a long way to go.

When they woke up in the morning, their journey started again. As the penguins were walking, they saw more melting icebergs and dark clouds.

They had lost their way due to the glaciers moving. They went on for a long time, not knowing which direction they were going. They were very tired and needed a rest now. But there was no house in sight to rest.

Then the great whale Totu said to her fellow travelers “don't worry my friends. You can rest for a while on my back”. And everyone accepted the proposal. While the penguins rested, the whale swam for many kilometers without realizing it. The penguins woke up and saw a flock of birds in the sky. Birds see everything. The birds agreed with the penguins to help them find the right way. The penguins then felt strong and happy.

The penguins had arrived at the North Pole. They put in a lot of effort and eventually achieved their goal. You did it, penguins. The penguins were very happy. They were proud of themselves. But the glaciers were melting at the north pole too. That's bad. Very bad. What are they going to do now?

Being very concerned about what they found at the North Pole, they tried to find an explanation for this phenomenon in order to identify the solution. From talking to the other creatures, they realised that the only help for this problem could come from humans. They are the ones whose behaviour has caused the weather too warm and only they can stop the negative effects on the glaciers. They all agreed that every living creature of nature should show by its behaviour the need for humans to be responsible towards nature.
