The Bunnies

Spider Bunny asked them: Can I play with you?. The bunnies said altogether: "Yes Of course." 

They had a good time playing in the park. When the night arrived, the bunnies invited him to go to their house to dinner and rest. Spider Bunny accepted very happy.

In the bunnies house he discovered that they had an Easter Egg in the middle of the living room.

Spider Bunny Told them the important mission he had this year: To collect Easter Eggs from the different countries he was visiting. The bunnies offered the Easter Egg to fill the basket.

Spider Bunny was really happy.

All of them were to sleep and

when the bunnies woke up the 

following day. They discovered that 

Spider Bunny set up a 

new adventure.

Spider Bunnies' next destination was Lithuania. The bunnies all wished Spider Bunny good luck, and they looked forward to meeting him again - once he finishes his journey. It took a while, but Spider Bunny managed to reach his destination. While he was walking through one of the cities, he got lost in thought, thinking about how he will find his next easter egg for his collection. Suddenly, Spider Bunny noticed crowds of bunnies looking at something. He decided to check it out, when something caught his eye - there was a poster of an egg painting contest. That really interested Spider Bunny, and he decided to take part in it and compete for fun. The egg painting contest came around. There were 5 contestants in total, including Spider Bunny. The contest leader introduced herself as Bunny Maya - a bunny from Lithuania. Bunny Maya told them to pick any egg of their choice and to paint it - the most colorful one wins.

The Contest

Spider Bunny was deciding about the eggs - which one shall he paint? Suddenly, he felt drawn to one of the eggs, it's as if it had a special aura. Spider Bunny picked that special egg, and made sure to paint it as colorful as possible. The contest came to an end, and it was time to choose the winner. Bunny Maya had to think for a while, but in the end - she found Spider Bunnies egg the most interesting. Bunny Maya chose Spider Bunny as the winner! All the bunnies cheered for him - it was an unforgettable moment. As for the prize, Bunny Maya decided to gift Spider Bunny the egg he painted, as he noticed how fond Spider Bunny was of it - it was truly special. She also heard of Spider Bunnies mission to collect Easter eggs from around the world, and so, she wished him good luck on his journey. Spider Bunny added the new egg to his collection, and it was time for him to continue his adventure for more.

 Spider bunny looked at his basket excitedly. He already had two beautiful eggs in his collection. But it was time to start again. His next destination was Greece.

 After several hours he reached a green meadow with beautiful flowers and decided to rest. A little ladybug came and sat on his leg. What is your name, spider bunny asked . My name is Litsa, what are you doing in our place?  Spider bunny explained his mission to her and asked her about Greece. I will not stay here long, but I would like to know everything about your country. I wish I could fly like you!!

 My friend, I will fly for you,

 she told him and spread her little wings straight away

The ladybug began to fly over Greece and described to the bunny what she saw.

"I see a lot of sea and many small islands with houses dressed in blue and white".

"What a beautiful picture" said the spider bunny

"I wish I could keep it close to me forever. could you print what you saw on an egg please?"

 Ladybug  took her colors and her imagination with her. 

In no time the egg was ready. 

All the blue and white of the sea and the sky were on the little egg. The spider bunny looked at it excitedly. The egg complemented his collection very nicely. He was ready to continue his journey and mission

    At dawn, Spider Bunny set off early on his way to another country, in a new adventure. He traveled a lot, passed through plains, over hills, over rivers and arrived at a place with dry mountains covered by forests with tall fir trees.     Here everything seemed to be greener and the grass and trees, there were many things unknown to him. Running through the trees he stopped after a while to rest in the shade and suddenly he was frightened by the forest thicket and the voices that were being heard. He looked around and saw two bunnies fighting, they had a beautifully decorated egg that was being broken, they were very upset that they could not give the egg to the loriepuraș traveling through several European countries.

- Rilă Iepurilă explained to him that the country he arrived in is called Romania and the bunnies here paint tricolor eggs, in the colors of the Romanian flag.
 Rila Bunny's brother thought to return home where the family would help him paint another egg for Spyder Banny to complete his egg collection.

Spider Bunny traveled to Slovakia. He was welcomed by the butterfly Gregor. The butterfly took him to his wings and showed him our country. They flew through the mountains, forests, meadows, rivers to the small town of Presov where a festive mood reigned. It was Easter and specifically Easter Monday. Spider Bunny asked the butterfly Gregor that what is actually going on. The butterfly sat on the branch and began to talk. In Slovakia, there is a big tradition, when splash the girls with buckets of water on this day and whipped girls with canes made of willow decorated with colored ribbons  „in Slovakia - šibačka“ to be beautiful and healthy all year round. Girls will give them an Easter egg for a reward.

"I want such a beautiful easter egg," said Spider Bunny.

“You have to prepare for this because the easter egg will not be when you do not learn the Easter poem.”

“Please teach me some,” asked the Spider Bunny butterfly.

“So listen to me:             Šibem, šibem, Šiby ryby,

                                           Môj korbáčik nemá chyby.

                                            Ja chcem iba máličko,

                                            Maľované vajíčko.“

Spider Bunny learned it quickly, and the butterfly Gregor took him home to Tamarka, who attended the kindergarten of Važecká. The butterfly Gregor Tamarka splashed with water, whipped her little with a cane and told her Easter poem. Tamarka gave him a beautiful egg for his reward. Spider Bunny said goodbye and went on a journey in collecting eggs.

Spider Bunny had already five very beautiful and colorful eggs in his basket. He was very happy, but also he had to collect more. His basket was not full yet. He got on  the train and continued his journey. His new destination is Croatia. While he was traveling he saw beautiful plains, mountains and Adriatic sea. He met a  smart dog Max on the train. He explained to him that he had to find special egg. Dog Max decided to help him. They got off the train in Zagreb. They searched the streets, parks, meadows, but found nothing. Both of them was already tired and hungry so they decided to rest in the park. They fell a sleep. After some time, they were woken up by a loud noise. They quickly standed up and started running towards the place where the noise was coming from.

When they arrived, they saw many  children running with baskets. They did not understand what these children were doing. Suddenly a sparrow came to them and asked: "Whay are you here". They answered: "We are looking for a special Easter egg". The sparrow told them that they were in the right place. Children running with baskets are also looking for Easter eggs. That is our tradition. So the Spider Bunny and the dog Max got involved in the search for Easter eggs. They found a three color egg (read, white, blue) and were very happy. The dog Max  and Spider Bunny said goodbye and the bunny continued his journey.
