Μία φορά και ένα καιρό, ζούσε στο δάσος μία κάμπια που έτρωγε μόνο πράσινα φύλλα. Το σπίτι της ήταν φτιαγμένο από μεγάλα, καφέ φύλλα. Το κρεβάτι της ήταν φτιαγμένο από κλαδιά και για μαξιλάρι είχε ένα νούφαρο.

Once upon a time, a caterpillar lived in the forest and was fed only with green leaves. Its house was made of big, brown leaves. Its bed was made of branches and for a pillow, it had a lotus flower.

Μία μέρα, η κάμπια πήγε βόλτα στο δάσος. Εκεί βρήκε μία γάτα και έναν βάτραχο και γίνανε φίλοι.

One day, the caterpillar went for a walk into the forest. There, she met a cat and a frog and they became friends.

Αποφάσισαν να κάνουν μία βόλτα στο δάσος αλλά χάθηκαν. Τότε ο βάτραχος πήδηξε ψηλά, πάνω από τα δέντρα και είδε ένα όμορφο κάστρο και σκέφτηκαν να το επισκεφθούν.

They decided to explore the forest but they got lost. Then, the frog jumped high, above the trees and saw a beautiful castle and they thought of visiting it. 

Όταν έφτασαν στο κάστρο, η πόρτα ήταν κλειστή. Έτσι , η κάμπια πέρασα κάτω από αυτήν και άνοιξε την πόρτα στους φίλους της.

When reaching the castle, the gate was closed. The caterpillar passed under the gate and unlocked it for its friends.

Εκεί, συνάντησαν τον βασιλιά και την βασίλισσα. Φάγανε όλοι μαζί. Η κάμπια, η γάτα και ο βάτραχος έμειναν στο κάστρο για πάντα.

There, they met the King and the Queen. They had dinner together. The caterpillar, the cat and the frog lived in the castle forever.
