is for assignments. This course had many assignments. Some were easier than others. All of them were designed to teach digital technologies for use by current and future school librarians.

is for beginning the course. The first assignment of the course was to create a video introducing myself. This was an easy assignment, and one that students can do, too.

is for continuing the assignments. The next assignment was to set up a blog and twitter account. This was moderately difficult. Students can do this, too, with lots of guidance and warnings from their teacher-librarian.

is for discussions. Participating in class discussions was easy and something that can be done with students, under supervised settings. Students must be taught how to be kind when discussing things with their classmates.

is for educating yourself through class readings. This was not a difficult part of the class assignments. This is a fundamental part of traditional education that teacher-librarians will need to use with their student populations.

is for fun videos, games, and activities such as the Diffusion of Innovations video and game. The video and game were easy to watch and play. This video and game are an excellent way to introduce critical thinking skills to students.

is for getting information about what technologies are available to your student populations at school and at their homes through an environmental scan. This assignment is a bit time-consuming, but it can provide important data regarding what is available to your students.

is for having fun while learning new things. Watching the videos regarding social media was easy and informative, and something that can be used in a classroom setting with students.

is for individual responsibility when using technology. This is why an Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) is so important to review with students, parents, and anyone who will be using school technologies. This assignment was informative and useful.

is for the jubilation that one feels upon completing an assignment that is both challenging and rigorous. Creating infographics is always that kind of assignment for me, and students can benefit from creating them, too.

is for the kindness that teacher-librarians must incorporate in their work with students, particularly when introducing assignments that push the limits of their abilities, such as using animoto, QR codes, and cartoons.

is for learning how to do something. Teaching other people how to do something is an activity that is fundamental to education, and an excellent assignment for all students.

is for making something that you've never made before. Making a podcast with my two classmates is an example of that. It wasn't easy, but I look forward to someday helping students try this technology.

is for never taking advantage of the intellectual rights of creators. That's why it is so important to teach students about copyright law, fair use, and related aspects. This assignment was a great learning experience for me.

is for opportunities for all. Embracing this philosophy is the core belief of Universal Design for Learning (UDL.) UDL includes everything in the ADA, as well as additional provisions for accommodating all individuals.

is for personal blogs and interactions between bloggers and their reading public. This assignment was easy and was a great way to get to know my classmates. Students will enjoy it, too!

is for quarterly or annual library reports. This is a way for librarians to promote their libraries and activities occurring in them. Including students in the creation of these reports can help them see the bigger picture of what's going on in their school.

is for reading groups and online book communities. This assignment was very fun and one that lends itself to student use. Helping students participate in online book communities can foster a love of reading to last a lifetime.

is for summing up a semester of learning. My final reflection reminded me of everything I learned this year, how easy or difficult the assignments were, and how the assignments can be used in classrooms and libraries. Using storyjumper.com was a great way to share this my final reflection. This is a great app to use with students, too!

is for thanks. I want to thank my instructor, Dr. Gross, and all of my classmates who helped me learn so much this semester. (The letters u, v, w, x, y, and z will have to wait for another time to share themselves. Thank you, nonetheless, u, v, w, x, y, and z!)
