He got average grades, 

he had average hobbies, 

and a completely average family. 

He was average but his friends weren’t....

His friends got either good or bad grades, 

had amazing pets 

and huge families. 

Patrick was jealous.

Patrick was jealous because he didn’t feel 

special.

That was until his mum told him some 

exciting news.

“Patrick your father and I have agreed that 

we are going to get a dog and you get to 

choose it,”

“Really?” asked Patrick

At the dog shop there were special looking 

dogs, 

and normal looking dogs. 

Patrick didn’t know which one to choose.

That was until he saw.....

COCO

Coco was an ordinary dog, she didn’t have 

anything special about her. 

Patrick wanted to buy her immediately.

Patrick and Coco are ordinary but their 

friendship is extraordinary.
