Frank Flipper was an acrobat at a circus. He
could do flips and tumbles... all of that. Plus he
was as popular as a six year old could be.

Every night he would perform, make people
laugh and smile, even give them a shock when
he did big tricks.

But one night he did his act and when it was
time to do the hardest trick he had ever tried,
triple front shuffle grab, he fell and tumbled
and twisted and fumbled.

Luckily there was a net to catch him, but he
got off the net and saw everyone staring at
him. He started to cry and ran all the way
home.

“MUM! MUM! I NEVER WANT TO TRAPEZE
AGAIN!” Frank screamed at his mum when he
arrived home.

Frank’s mum gave him a big hug and said
“Well then, you will have to practice so you
don’t fall again. Frank said “OK,” and the next
day he went back to the circus, got back up on
the trapeze and kept trying to do the triple
front side shuffle grab.

But every time he tried, he fell. He thought he
would never make it.

That night it was time time to try and Frank
thought to himself ‘Time to do this.'

He swung through the air one flip, two flips
and then a third flip. He twisted and grabbed
his ankle and.......

Frank looked around at all the people clapping
and cheering. He finally spotted him mum
clapping for him.

“I could not have done it without you Mum,”
Frank said. And then he said “I can’t wait for
tomorrow!”
