Threadsville

In the heart of a colorful town named Threadsville, lived a little girl named Jessie, who loved styling clothes...

Hey look, Jessie found us!

Woah! Talking clothes?!

One day Jessie was opening her closet to find her outfit for the day and discovered a magical cabinet inside filled with all different types of clothes!

Hey there!
Jessie decided to go into the cabinet to explore and to her amazement she found a magic world filled with talking clothes, each with their own personality.
Oh my gosh! A new person.
Woah! Look, somebody's here!

Our whole purpose is to teach children like you about the importance of clothing recycling and donation!
The clothes welcomed Jessie warmly and began introducing her to everyone. First she met a wise old sweater named Felix the Fleece. Felix explained that the cabinet's mission was to teach children about the magic of clothing donation and recycling so they can help their own communities!

Hey Felix, could you show me around?

Of course, let's go!
Jessie, excited to join the adventure, asked Felix to show her around to see what else they could find.

And I'm Simon! Our last owner was a 12 year old boy who wore us every day!
Hey! I'm Simone.
Along the way Jessie met a friendly pair of sneakers named Simone and Simon, who were eager to share the stories of their past owners.

Hey there! My name's Josie Jeans, I've been to New York City, Boston, and even your hometown, Threadsville!
Next she met Josie Jeans, who told her all about the different places she had been, and different people who had worn her!

The best part about being donated is that our adventure gets to continue on!
Yeah, each of our owners has a different journey!
Jessie learned that clothes, much like people, have tales to tell, and by donating them, these stories can continue on forever!

Hmmmmm....
How can I help?
There has to be a way.

As Jessie continued to meet new friends on her adventure, she had an idea. “What if I find a place that will use these special clothes so they can continue their journey and get to people in need?”

Dorcas Ministries
Jessie suddenly remembered a store where her mom drops off old clothes every now and then, Dorcas Ministries, which happened to be right next to Jessie's neighborhood! Jessie decided to go for a visit and bring her new friends along, who were eager to find their new homes and make new memories!

Come on in! We'll take all of the donations we can get!

Yayyy!!
Perfect! C'mon everybody, let's head in!
Mrs. Davis, the warm-hearted owner of Dorcas Ministries, welcomed Jessie and her talking clothes with open arms. She explained how every donated piece of clothing makes a difference in the lives of others.

Clothing Drive

Clothing Drive

Jessie, inspired by Mrs. Davis’s words, decided to organize a clothing drive in her very own town!

Let's get some posters up to let the town know!

She started by putting up signs to spread the word about the importance of donating gently used clothes to Dorcas Ministries to not only help others but to help the environment!

Let's go get mom and dad. We can bring a bunch of clothes from our house!
Hey, we should grab some clothes to bring to Jessie's drive!
The story of Jessie's magical journey and the impact of her clothing drive spread throughout Threadsville like wildfire.

We have bags of clothes for drop off!
We came to help!
Hundreds of people came to donate!
Families came together to support each other and the environment by recycling and donating their clothes to Dorcas Ministries. And, in the end, Jessie, with the help of her new friends, was able to continue the stories for thousands of clothes, by having her town come together to donate.

Jessie continued to donate clothes every few months, and had a special message to all of the other children out there...

I'm so glad! Here's some more clothes I found at home. See you again soon, Mrs. Davis!

Jessie! We've had more people coming in to donate clothes than EVER before, thanks to your clothing drive!

"You can do the very same thing I did - donate clothes, help your community and environment, and make a change!"

Meet Jessie, a young, determined girl who discovers a magical cabinet in her closet that opens the door to an enchanted world of talking clothes, each with their own story! Led by the wise, Felix the Fleece, Jessie begins her adventure, learning about the magic of giving, community, and the power of recycling. As Jessie and her new friends set out on a mission to help their community, their story inspires people in their town to band together and support a worthy cause. “The Threads of Threadsville” is more than a story; it's a heartfelt invitation to join Jessie in changing the world - one piece of clothing at a time.
