How do you feel when your leaves fall?

Νιώθω λύπη και μοναξιά αλλά σκέφτομαι ότι την Άνοιξη θα μεγαλώσουν τα φύλλα μου ξανά

I feel sad and lonely but I think that in the Spring new buds will come out again

Πόσο χρονών είσαι; How old are you?

Είμαι 100 χρονών και το καταλαβαίνουμε από τους κύκλους στο κορμό μου

I am 100 years old and we can tell by the circles on my torso

3. Πως σε λένε; What΄s your name?

Με λένε φυλλοβόλο δέντρο γιατί το φθινόπωρο τα φύλλα μου γίνονται κίτρινα, κόκκινα, πορτοκαλί και καφέ και πέφτουν στη γη και βγάζω νέα φύλλα την άνοιξη. 

I am called a deciduous tree because in autumn my leaves turn yellow, red, orange and brown and fall to the ground and I grow new leaves in the spring.

4. Είσαι ευτυχισμένο που ζεις στο δάσος; γιατί

     Are you happy living in the forest? why?

Ναι, είμαι ευτυχισμένο στο δάσος γιατί έχω παρέα  τα ζώα που ζουν εδώ και τα άλλα δέντρα και μπορώ να επικοινωνώ μαζί τους με τις ρίζες  μου.

Yes, I am happy in the forest because the forest animals keep me company and I also have the company of all the other trees that I can communicate with through my roots.

1) Why are you charred?

Bad people smoked a sigaret and threw it on the ground while I was sleeping, and I got burned with all my leaves.

Perché sei bruciato?

Le persone cattive hanno fumato una sigaretta e l'hanno buttata a terra mentre stavo dormendo mi sono bruciato tutto con tutte le foglie.

2) Why are you sad?

I was left alone, all my friends run away from the forest and I have no one to play with.

Perché sei triste?

Sono rimasto da solo, i miei amici se ne sono andati dalla foresta e non posso giocare con nessuno.

3) Who are your friends?

My friends are the birds, the squirrels, the sun, the clouds, the raindrops, children climbing on me and all the plants all around me.

Ποιοι είναι οι φίλοι σου;

Φίλοι μου είναι τα πουλιά, οι σκίουροι, ο ήλιος, τα σύννεφα κι οι σταγόνες της βροχής, τα παιδιά που παίζουν σκαρφαλώνοντας στα κλαδιά μου και τα φυτά που βρίσκονται τριγύρω.

4) Do you have something to tell to the people?

Please don't cut me, don't burn me and don't hurt me. I want to go back ¨home¨, in the forest. I give you important things, such as oxygen, fruits and nuts, my shadow and I make the enviroment more beautiful.

* Θα ήθελες να πεις κάτι στους ανθρώπους;

Σας παρακαλώ μη με κόψετε, μη με καίτε και μη με πληγώνετε. Θέλω να γυρίσω στο ¨σπίτι¨μου, το δάσος. Σας δίνω πολλά και σημαντικά όπως το οξυγόνο, τους καρπούς μου, τη σκιά μου και την ομορφιά μου.

What do your leaves look like?

Como são as tuas folhas?

Trees have different leaves. Some have a round shape, others a triangle. Some are heart-shaped and others look like needles. Others have thorns. Like you, we are different.

Τα δέντρα έχουν διάφορα φύλλα. Άλλα έχουν σχήμα στρογγυλό, άλλα τρίγωνο. Άλλα έχουν σχήμα καρδιάς κι άλλα μοιάζουν με βελόνες. Άλλα έχουν αγκάθια. Όπως κι εσείς είμαστε κι εμείς διαφορετικοί.

As árvores comunicam pelas raízes  e também pelas suas folhas.

Do trees help each other?

Βοηθούν τα δέντρα το ένα το άλλο;

As árvores podem dar nutrientes umas às outras através das suas raízes. Elas fazem sombra umas às outras, protegendo-se do sol.

La mia stagione preferita è l'estate.

Ποια ζώα ζουν στα κλαδιά σου;

Sui miei rami vivono il ghiro, gli scoiattoli, gli uccellini e il gufo.

On my branches live the dormouse, the squirrels, the birds and the owl.
