This is how we worked. Firstly, we read books about the forests such as the following and we made fruitful discussions and drawings about them

We learnt : "What is a tree?"

And we drew trees with their characteristics: tree trunk, branches, leaves....

and forests.....

We learnt many information about trees and forests

we found out the wonderful job of insects (pollination) to fruit trees. Our Mount Pelion has the biggest amount of fruit trees 

we found out that trees and forests give us oxygen!

Trees absorb water with their roots and they restrain the soil in cases of floods.

More frequent floods happen after  deforestation 

Trees and forests generaly are the habitats of many animals

We feel relaxed when we listen to the sounds of Mother Nature
