Students and their parents baked not only waffles, kibins, but also cinnamon buns, "tinginys" cookies and other dishes at home.
Ingredients: 4 glasses of flour
200 gr. sour cream
3 eggs + 1 egg (for coating)
200 gr. butter (or baking margarine)
1 pinch of salt
600 grams of minced meat and 1 onion
Salt, pepper and spices for meat to taste
Production process: Add flour, grated butter (or margarine) to the container and mix well. In another container, mix 3 eggs with sour cream and add to the flour and butter mass, mix well. We put it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. We make the filling: finely chop the onion, fry it and add it to the minced meat, season it with salt, pepper, spices and mix everything. We take the dough out of the refrigerator, roll out the balls, put the filling on them and form a kibin. We heat the oven to 200 degrees. We cover the baking sheet with baking paper, place the kibinas on the sheet and place it in the oven heated to 200 degrees. After 5 min. grease the kibins with a beaten egg. We bake the kibins for about 20 - 40 minutes until they are nicely golden. Take it out of the oven and enjoy!

Timballo Teramano

(to make)Scrippelle
10 eggs, 10 spoons of fluor, some spoons of water.
(to make) Timballo
3 mozzarella cheese, 250gr minced meat, 4 eggs, milk, parmesan, butter,
(to make) Tomato Souce
250gr minced meat, onion, 1carrot, celery,oil, salt.


Final product execution.
Grease the pan with butter and put scrippelle inside of it, then add tomato sauce with minced meat. Put pieces of mozzarella cheese inside, togheter with eggs mixed with milk. Do it twice, then make the last coat with scrippelle and put on top some butter flakes. cook in the oven for about thirty minutes.

TOMATO SAUCE MEATBALLS
500 gr. ground beef, 2 egg, onion, 1garlic,
breadcrumbs, tomato sauce.

SWEETBREAD WITH COCOA, WALNUTS AND RAISINS
You'll need:


Method:
1. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt.
2. Gradually add the sugar, vanilla essence and grated lemon zest.
3. Gradually add the egg yolks and oil and continue mixing.
4. Add the raisins and chopped walnuts and mix with a spatula.
5. Incorporate 2/3 of the sifted flour and baking powder with a spatula, then divide the mixture in two. In one put the remaining flour, in the other the sifted cocoa.
6. Pour the white mixture in a tray lined with baking paper, and over it put the cocoa mixture, combining the two colors. You can decorate with pieces of nuts.
7. Bake the cake in the preheated oven at 170 degrees, approximately 35 minutes.
8. After cooling, decorate with powdered sugar. Enjoy!


INGREDIENTS:
100 GR BUTTER
200 GR DARK CHOCOLATE
100 GR SUGAR

4 SPOONS OF WHITE FLOUR


"TENERINA" CHOCOLATE CAKE

Preparation process:
- MELT THE BUTTER AND CHOCOLATE
- separate the egg yolks from the whites
- mix the sugar with the yolks, then add the butter and chocolate mixture
- add the flour to the mixture
- whisk the egg whites until stiff
- gently fold the egg whites into the mixture
- pour the batter into a baking dish bake at 180°C in a preheated static oven
“ "Pierogi” with cabbage and mushrooms
Ingredients for dumpling dough:
- 4 cups of flour
- 1,5 cups of hot water
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- some salt
Ingredients for the cabbage and mushrooms stuffing:
- 800 g of sauerkraut
- 60 g of dried mushrooms
- 2 medium onions – 300 g
- 7 tablespoons of oil
- some pepper and salt
First, we make the stuffing, then cut out circles in the dough with a glass, knead the dumplings and cook.

Ingredients for Kutia:
1 1/2 cups of boiled wheat grains
4 1/2 cups of milk (or water, but milk tastes better)
3/4 cups of brewed poppy seeds
1/2 cup of honey
Some raisins, almonds ,(or chopped walnuts) some people also
add crushed dried fruit.
How to make:
1. Rinse wheat grains, pour as much cold water to cover
the grains and leave them to soak overnight.
2.Boil the grains for about an hour mixing frequently
and leave it to cool down.
3. Rinse poppy seeds in cold water. Pour boiled water
over the poppy seeds.
4. Leave them for 3 hours to swell and next drain them off .
5. Mix the poppy seeds with boiled wheat grains, add honey,
raisins, almonds, walnuts, crushed dried fruit, pour water.
6. Mix everything and give it some time to get flavor.

Batzina-Traditional pie with fresh greens filling
The ideal solution for a quick and easy snack you can enjoy anytime!
Ingredients
- 400 gr spinach - 2 eggs
- 2 chopped leeks - 250 gr milk or ariani -2 spoonfuls olive oil - 3-4 cups cornflour
- 300 gr feta cheese
- 1 cup yogurt

Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a big bowl. Next, spread the mixture on a greased baking sheet. Pour some olive oil and bake at 180°C for about 40-50 minutes.

Buns with poppy seeds
For the dough you will need:
300 ml of milk
3 eggs
50 g of yeast
50 g of butter
500 g of flour

Waffles with cream
Ingredients:
7-8 wafer sheets
1 jar of condensed milk
200 g of chocolate cream
100 g of mini marshmallows

Ingredients:
6 eggs
2 teaspoons of baking powder
2 glasses of sugar
2 glasses of oil
4 glasses of flour
10 apples

HALVA (By 2nd Filiatra Primary School)
1 cup of olive oil 3 cups of sugar
2 cups of semolina 4 cups of water
1 cup of walnuts (almonds or pine nuts)
1/3 cup of raisins cinnamon powder
DIRECTIONS : Boil the water with the sugar for 5 minutes and remove from heat. In a large deep pot put olive oil and semolina and brown on medium-high heat, stirring continuously (this should take 4-5 minutes).Add the nuts and raisins. When the semolina has taken a golden brown color, add the syrup to it (it will bubble and steam up excessively - be prepared!), turn down the heat and keep stirring until you get a kind of thick porridge. Continue cooking until the mixture is very thick and pull away from the sides of the pan as you stir. Spoon into a buttered or oiled pan and pack down with the back of a spoon. Let it cool. Unmold onto a platter and sprinkle with cinnamon .


GREEK SALAD ( By 2nd Filiatra Primary School )
Ingredients : 2-3 ripe tomatoes ,1 firm cucumber, 1 onion
7 oz greek feta cheese,10-12 olives, about 1/4 cup of olive oil and one table spoon of oregano Salt to taste .
Cut each tomato into 8-10 pieces
Cut the cucumber into slices
Slice the onion thinly .
Put the tomatoes, cucumbers and onions in a
large salad bowl
Add the olive oil, salt and mix well to coat the ingredients.
Top with the olives , feta cheese and oregano .
Serve with crusty bread and enjoy !

In a big pot put the lamb with the spices, and then add the rest of the ingredients, using one litre of water. Cook it for two hours.
In another pot boil the chickpeas until they get soft.
Then mix the chickpeas with the soft cooked lamb and continue for one hour.
Add the bulgur and let it rest for thirty minutes.
Serve the Lakani with yoghurt!
