CHAPTER 1

Once upon a time there was a widowed woman who lived in a cosy cottage with her son. The boy's name was Jack. They had a cow and their life was hard. Jack's dream was to help his mother when he grows up.
Jack grew and became as big as a giant. He could even see the horizon!
One day he went hiking and wanted to see what was there beyond the horizon. He walked for a long time until he reached the sea.

The sea was rough - huge waves reached the fishermen's houses and destroyed everything around!

After the rain he saw a rainbow in the sky and played with it making sashes of various colours.
Every girl could dress up in them.
Then Jack had an idea - he started bringing sand in his palms and made huge dunes of sand that could protect the villages from floods - the stormy sea and its huge waves could not cause harm to the fishermen's settlements any longer.

Once, standing on a high dune, Jack nearly reached the sky and accidentally hit a cloud with his head. Suddenly a shower of amber rained down!
There were lots of amber pieces on the shore!

Jack returned home, bringing pieces of amber in his palms. Now all the women could make necklaces...
His mother made amber jewelry and sold it in the market. At last, the hard times were over! Jack and his mother were self-sufficient! They did not have to sell the cow or to make money by dishonest means.

The Moral of the story
Even though you are different from others, be positive and helpful!
Never lose hope to achieve good results by working hard - if you have a little luck!
CHAPTER 2

Chapter 3
Once upon a time, there was a poor boy named Jack who lived with his mother. One day, Jack’s mother sent him to the market to sell their only cow because they desperately needed money. On the way, Jack met an old man who convinced him to trade the cow for a handful of magical beans.

Excited, Jack ran home and showed the beans to his mother. She was furious and scolded him for being so foolish. That night, however, Jack planted the beans in the backyard. By morning, a giant beanstalk had grown—so tall it reached into the clouds.

But this wasn’t an ordinary beanstalk. It was wild and aggressive, thrashing side to side, destroying everything around it. It tore through fields, crushed houses, and terrified the villagers.

Determined to stop the chaos, Jack bravely climbed the beanstalk all the way to the top. There, he discovered a strange, mysterious world. At the very peak of the beanstalk, the same old man was sitting surrounded by clouds. But he wasn’t just an old man—he was a wicked wizard.

The wizard sat in front of a massive computer, using it to control the beanstalk and wreak havoc on the world below. It turned out that he had created a hologram of himself to give Jack the beans. He hated the world and had tricked Jack into planting the beanstalk so he could destroy it.
Jack, quick and clever, knew he had to act fast. With lightning speed, he pulled out his pocketknife and cut the power cable connecting the wizard's computer. Sparks flew, and the screen went dark. The beanstalk stopped moving.

Jack slid down the beanstalk, grabbed an axe, and with all his strength, chopped it down. It was hard work, but at last, the beanstalk collapsed to the ground. Jack had saved the world.
And from that day on, Jack never trusted mysterious old men with shiny beans. The end

CHAPTER 4
" Jack's magical adventure"
Once upon a time, Jack and his mother lived in a small hut and were very poor. They only had an old cow that gave milk. Jack's mother thought of selling the cow to make a little money. So, Jack went to the market to sell it. On the way, he met a strange man.
The man said, "Hey little boy, if you give me that cow, I will give you five magical rainbow stones. They are more valuable than money, you will become rich." Jack liked the offer. He gave the cow to the man and took the magical rainbow stones.

When Jack came home and told his mother , his mother got angry and threw the rainbow stones out the window. It was evening, and Jack looked out the window and saw that the rainbow stones were shining and glowing. He noticed that the stones had formed a rainbow staircase leading into the cloud. Without telling his mother, Jack climbed the rainbow stairs. When he climbed, he came to abig palace. Jack knocked the door and a fairy servant opened it. Jack was invited in.
The Queen Fairy asked, " Why have you come, little boy?" Jack told the Queen everything that had happened. After dinner, he started exploring the palace .

On one of the doors, there was a sign that said, " Do not enter this room." But Jack entered anyway. In the middle of the room there was a chikhen that laid golden eggs. Jack thought his mother would be happy if he took the chikhen. Just as he was about to pick it up, an alarm went off. Jack got scared and started running. The Queen Fairy chased him. Jack, carrying the chikhen, ran quikly down the rainbow stairs. To make sure nobody followed him, he dug up the rainbow stones and destroyed the rainbow staircase. Jack escaped from the Queen Fairy. He took the golden egg-laying chikhen to his mother.
Jack and his mother lived happily and wealthily ever after.
