Marios, Lina and their little dog, Rudy, loved to play in the forest. There was a big, old oak

tree there, which they said was magical!

One day, as they were running happily, they saw something that made them sad. Someone had thrown trash under the tree!

Suddenly, a soft voice was heard:

“Help me…”

Marios and Lina looked around. It was the oak tree that was talking!

“The forest needs your help!” said the tree.

“Trash hurts plants and animals.”

The children wanted to help! They carefully collected the trash and threw it in the right bin.

Rudy wagged his tail happily!

As soon as they were finished, the oak tree glowed with a soft, green light.

“Thank you, my little friends! When you love nature, it loves you back!”

Since then, Marios and Lina have been telling everyone how important it is to take care of

the forest.

And every time they passed by the magical oak tree, it seemed to them that… it was smiling at them!
