They treated his foot and bandaged it.The hedgehog started playing again. After his record was broken, he said he would fall again and break his other foot.
He called for help again, but this time no one came. The hedgehog became enraged. He found an aconite on the ground and played with it. Just then, a branch from the tree fell on the hedgehog's head. THE SQUIRREL IS HUNGRY
There was a Squirrel Pinecone in the forest. This pinecone was very hungry. He searched everywhere in the forest for food.
He saw a piece of twig! Looking at the twig, he said, "This is inedible!"
"I'm so hungry, what can I eat?" He said. Then he found a piece of stone.
"Oh, how can I eat this? It's so hard!"
"Yes, it's a stone, this is inedible!"
Then, while wandering through the forest, he found a stick. "This is inedible too," he said.
Claiming he was hungry, he continued his wandering. He wondered what to do next.
Then Squirrel Pinecone's friend gave him an acorn.
"That's it! You can eat the acorn."
Squirrel Pinecone said cheerfully, "Now I'm full. I'm so happy."
That's where the story ends.

Terra's favorite things
One sunny morning, Terra woke up, got out of bed, opened her window, and as she looked at the bright sun and admired the wonderful day, a peacock feather flew in front of her. She liked it very much and kept it. She went outside to see where the feather had come from and, walking through the grass, she found an acorn and picked that up too.
After walking a little further, she reached the sea. There she found a broken shell. She decided to take that with her too. But there were also many discarded flowers on the beach. Terra picked them up and took them with her. On her way back, she passed through a small forest and picked some pinecones. She continued her walk and arrived at the park where there were many fallen leaves. She gathered them too and went home. She kept everything she had gathered and lay down to sleep. The next morning when she woke up, a big surprise awaited her. Everything she had collected the previous day had disappeared. Then she thought that someone might have stolen them and decided to go out and look for the thief. On her way, she found some plants she liked and took them for her kitchen. When she returned home, she saw that her house was gone... it had been stolen too. She was very sad, but she thought of gathering some stones to build a new one. Terra built the most beautiful house and planted many trees and flowers in her yard. Then she called all the children to come to her house. The children went to her house and from that day on they became friends. They promised Terra that they would protect her and not let anyone hurt her.
From then until now, children have been Terra's best protectors!

Terra in the forest
One beautiful autumn day, Terra went for a walk in a village that had a forest with many tall trees. Terra walked among the trees and gathered in her little basket colorful autumn leaves, pinecones from the pine trees, cypress fruits from the cypress trees, fragrant tangerines from the tangerine tree, acorns from the oak tree, carobs from the carob tree, and lovely flowers. She also cut a branch from an olive tree to bring back to the village. Suddenly, two of her good friends, the little squirrel and the hedgehog, ran up to her. They all played hide-and-seek together under the branches of the trees, laughing out loud. The nature around them seemed to be happy with them. After saying goodbye to them, Terra continued her walk until she reached the sea. There, she collected two seashells and a pebble. In the end, she returned home joyful and happy after a beautiful walk in nature! Nature is a great treasure—it gives us joy, play, gifts, and peace. And we must always love and protect it.

A Magical Day with Terra
On a beautiful autumn day, Terra went for a walk.
I am Mascot Terra and I love nature! — she said cheerfully.
On the way, she found a small, shiny stone.
Wow, this stone is heavy! I’ll put it in my backpack! — said Terra.
Then, under a yellow leaf, she found a shell.
Hey, but shells belong in the sea! How did it get here? — asked a curious little girl.

Further on, Terra spotted a shiny acorn. A delicious food for squirrels! — laughed a little boy.
In a corner, Terra found 3 nuts and later 2 acorns and a fir cone. Oh, what an autumn treasure! — shouted a child. The wind brought a red leaf that fell on her head. Now I have a hat! — laughed Terra.
There were also some purple and yellow flowers on the ground. Let's make a bouquet for Mascot Terra! — said all the children.
Finally Terra and her friends gathered gifts from nature and enjoyed the most beautiful autumn walk!

In search of lost feathers
On a sunny autumn day, Terra put on her new slippers and went for a walk in the forest behind the house. She walked a little and suddenly a leaf falls in front of her.

-What's happening? Where did you come from?
-From here? A voice answers.
Terra is scared, but brave, she asks one more time who spoke to her.
-I am the oak. Up here!
Terra looks up and discovers a tall and imposing tree, but almost leafless. It was the oldest oak in the forest and with the arrival of autumn it had begun to shake off its dry leaves.

On one of its branches there was an owl crying. Terra asked her what happened, and she replied:
-I lost some feathers and I can't find them anymore. Every time I get scared I lose another feather.
-We could go look for them, Terra said.

-Oh, that's a wonderful idea! No one has ever helped me find my lost feathers. The two set off together in search.

They walked along a path until, from under a large rock, the tip of a feather emerged. They pushed the boulder hard, freeing the feather. The owl was very happy.

They went further until, out of nowhere, they came across a seashell. Curious, they picked it up, looked at it and discovered that there was another feather inside. Terra and the owl, who had already become friends, were also very happy.

The two friends continued their journey and at the edge of the forest, stuck in a pine cone, they discovered the third feather.
They were very happy.

They returned to the oak tree and promised themselves that although their adventure was over, they would definitely see each other again.
After they said ”goodbye”, Terra went home, being happy because she made a new friend.

The Power of Cooperation
Once upon a time, in a beautiful forest, lived Terra. One sunny afternoon, she decided to go to the sea. As she was walking along the shore, she saw beautiful seashells, large shiny stones, and lovely starfish. She thought it would be nice to collect some to decorate her home. After spending quite some time there, she started her journey back home. On her way, she met her friend Greenblabla, whom she hadn’t seen in a while. Greenblabla was feeling sad because the night before, a strong wind had damaged her house. That’s why she had gone to the forest to gather leaves, branches, acorns, and cypress cones, so she could repair it. Terra told her that she wanted to help, and so they set off together for Greenblabla’s home. They spread out all the things Greenblabla had gathered from the forest, along with everything Terra had collected from the sea. After working for a long time, the house was finally ready again. The two friends were very happy that they had helped each other. They sat together and enjoyed a warm cup of hot chocolate!

One sunny morning, Terra, the cheerful guardian of nature, walked happily through the forest. Birds were singing, leaves were dancing in the wind, and everything around her seemed full of life. Suddenly, she heard a tiny cry: “Peep! Peep!”
Behind a bush stood a little fawn, shaking with worry.
“Don’t be scared,” Terra said softly. “I’m your friend.”
“I’m lost… I can’t find my mother,” whispered the fawn. Terra smiled kindly. “Let’s find her together. The forest always helps those who care for it.” They began their journey, following the songs of the birds. But soon, they heard another noise— Splash!
A baby bird had fallen into a small stream and was struggling to get out. “Oh no!” cried the fawn. Terra quickly knelt down. “Hold on, little one!”

She picked up a long branch, and the baby bird grabbed it with its tiny claws. With a gentle pull, Terra lifted it safely onto the bank. The bird shook its wings, chirping happily before flying back to its nest. “See?” Terra said. “When we help nature, nature helps us.”
As they walked on, a soft breeze brushed their faces, and the leaves rustled loudly—as if guiding them. Soon, they reached a bright clearing where a mother deer stood searching anxiously. “Mama!” the fawn cried and ran toward her.
The mother deer nuzzled her baby lovingly. “Thank you, Terra. You brought back my little one.” Terra smiled. “I’m always here for the forest.”
And from that day on, Terra became known as the little hero of the woods—brave, kind, and always ready to help any creature in need.

The magical company of nature!
Once upon a time, in a beautiful autumn forest, there lived together a golden leaf, a slender twig, a proud pinecone, a shiny shell, three mischievous acorns, a red pomegranate, a round pebble and a handful of colorful flowers.
One morning, the leaf began to dance in the air with excitement.
— “I heard that the Wind is looking for the most special thing in nature to make it its helper!” it said.
The acorns began to roll around with joy, the pinecone proudly shook its scales, while the shell shone like a small sun.
“Only what can help others and bring joy can become my helper,” said the wind.
The shell sang with its sea voice, filling the forest with peace.
The group decided to work together. Everyone, in their own way, offered something valuable
The pebble remained still and strong, so that everyone could lean on it when they got tired
The leaf made a colorful umbrella for the flowers when it started to drizzle The pomegranate distributed juicy seeds
to the animals.
The pine cone gave seeds to the birds to eat.
The twig became a small bridge for an ant that had gotten lost.
The three acorns made everyone laugh with their somersaults
The flowers gave their fragrances to their friends.
“Which of you brought the greatest joy?” asked the wind.
The group looked at each other. No one wanted to show off.
Then the Wind smiled:
“But of course… the most special of all of you is you! Your strength is your friendship.”
And so the wind lifted them up and made them travel alongside it: sometimes in the forest, sometimes in the sea, sometimes in the mountains.

"A Walk in the Garden"
Once upon a time, in a beautiful garden with chrysanthemums, stones and autumn fruits, there lived a beautiful creature called Tera who loved all things of nature and all seasons. Every season he took walks in the garden and talked with nature. He admired the autumn landscape!!!
One winter day, while Tera was taking her walk, she saw a little child gathering sticks to light the fireplace in their home to get warm. Tera approached the child and offered it an orange, and asked if it needed her help and company to go back to her house, get warm, and spend this cold day together. The child gladly accepted the invitation!!
In the summer, Tera decided to go for a slightly longer walk, beyond the garden. She took the child with her and they went to the beach to enjoy nature there. They played with the seawater, collected seashells, built sandcastles, and were very happy. Tera and all the children who loved her very much understood that all seasons are beautiful and all the gifts of nature are unique!!
The end

The Hedgehog's Friend Hidden in the Bush
One quiet autumn afternoon, a little girl named Terra wandered through the park with her pockets full of colorful leaves and shiny chestnuts. The air smelled of damp leaves, and the wind whispered softly.
As she bent down to pick up a bright red leaf, a small hedgehog came out of the bushes—scared, yet curious. Terra knelt down and smiled at him. The hedgehog seemed to understand he had nothing to fear and slowly approached, sniffing a chestnut the girl offered him. After a while, Terra and the hedgehog walked together toward the edge of the park, where a path led to the seashore.
There, the sun was sinking over the warm, golden sand. The little girl collected a few shells, white and pink, glistening in the sunset, and arranged them in a circle, like a tiny “carpet” for her new spiky friend.
In the center of the circle, Terra placed the last summer blossom she had found in the park— a simple, bright yellow flower. The hedgehog sat beside it, and the girl felt she had discovered an unexpected friendship, born from leaves, flowers, chestnuts, shells, and sand.
NADIA GROZAVESCU
Terra loved the summers. One Wednesday, the sun was scorching, and Terra was playing treasure hunter in her grandparents' garden. What caught her attention wasn't a sparkle, but a sudden silence.
Usually, there was a tireless chirping sound in the grass, but now there was nothing. She followed the sound, or rather, the lack of sound, until she reached a thick lavender bush. There, a large, dark green cricket was struggling helplessly. One of its wings was caught in a sticky spiderweb.
Terra spoke in a soft, calm whisper, and with great care, using a thin leaf, she freed the cricket from the invisible trap. The cricket shook itself off, let out a short, triumphant chirp, and leaped quickly back into the grass.
Before disappearing completely, it left behind a tiny pale blue chicory flower petal, like a small note of thanks.
Terra smiled. Her adventure hadn't been noisy, but she had saved the summer's best musician. Cristina Lacatus, Ionel Teodoreanu Secondary School, Bucharest, Romania

Terran’s Little Forest Adventure - Georgia Lioudaki 9th Kindergarten of Rethymno
Terran woke up one morning full of curiosity. “Today I want to explore nature!” she said, and opened her bedroom door… which instantly turned into a bright green forest! First appeared a small owl.“Hoo-hoo! Want me to show you my favorite tree?” it asked.
Terran laughed and followed it to a huge trunk that smelled like fresh earth. Suddenly, she heard a splash. It was a frog hopping near a tiny pond. “Try a jump too!” it said. Terran tried and… plop! she landed softly on the grass, laughing out loud. When the sun began to set, all the animals gathered around her. “Thank you for exploring nature with us!” they said together. Terran closed her eyes and whispered:“Nature is full of friends… you just have to look with love!”
Terran’s Magical Garden
Once upon a time, there was a sweet girl named Terran. She loved playing outside and collecting colorful autumn leaves, flowers, stones, and sticks. One day, Terran decided to make a magical garden. She used leaves for golden paths, sticks for tiny houses, stones for little ponds, and flowers for color and scent. Suddenly, the garden came alive! The leaves danced, the sticks became little trees, and the stones sparkled like jewels. Terran and the animals played there every day, adding their own magic to the garden with every leaf, stone, and flower.
And they all lived happily, surrounded by nature and imagination.

The Heart of a Forest: Terra and Her Nature Friends
One day, while Terra was walking through the forest, something magical happened. Terra noticed that the stones, leaves, pine cones, and branches around her had started to talk. Curious and excited, Terra began to talk with them. Soon, they decided to play a game of hide-and-seek together. The pine cone became “it”, and joyful laughter echoed through the forest.

One day, Terra went into the forest with a wicker basket on her arm. A tree with green leaves appeared opposite her. She gathered some green leaves from the tree. Then she came across dried branches and leaves. She put them in her basket. As she went a little further, she saw stones. She was very excited and put them in her basket as well. As she continued walking through the forest, singing, she came across pine cones. Some squirrels and hedgehogs were playing with the pine cones. She asked their permission and put the pine cones in her basket. She decided to make a toy for herself with all the materials she had put in her basket. She made her hair with leaves, her body with branches, her eyes with stones, and her feet with pine cones. She named the toy she made "The Green Explorer."

"A Walk in Nature"
One day, Brelouna and her friends went on a picnic in the forest. The sun was shining and the little birds were singing. Not far away was the beach, and the waves were whispering “shhh…” as if calling them. They spread their blanket, ate yummy food, and sang together. When they finished, they quickly got up to go to the beach. But without noticing, they left a few little pieces of trash behind.Brelouna saw it first. “Oh! We forgot some trash!” she said. She went back and started picking it up. Her friend Terra came to help her. “Let’s clean it together!” she said happily. After they cleaned everything, they walked through the forest. They found pinecones, pretty leaves, little sticks, and sweet-smelling herbs. They picked them up and giggled happily. Soon, they reached the beach. There they found big and small stones, shiny seashells, shells, and even a tiny starfish! The sea was blue and sparkling. Brelouna and Terra smiled. “What a beautiful day!” they said and ran to play in the sand.

One sunny afternoon, a kind girl named Terra was walking through the forest, admiring the colorful flowers and tall, green trees. Suddenly, she heard a tiny, sad whimper coming from behind a bush. Peeking through the leaves, she saw a little fox, all alone and crying.
"What's wrong, little one?" Terra asked softly, kneeling down.
The baby fox looked up with big, tearful eyes. It was lost and couldn't find its mommy. Terra’s heart filled with kindness. "Don't you worry,"
she whispered. "I'll help you."
Terra gently scooped up the little fox and gave it a comforting hug. They began to walk deeper into the woods, with Terra calling out, "Hello? Is any mommy fox looking for her baby?"
They didn't have to walk far. A beautiful mother fox with a big, bushy tail peeked out from behind a large oak tree. Her eyes lit up when she saw her baby safe in Terra’s arms. The little fox wiggled with excitement and leaped down to run to its mother.
They were so happy to be together again! The mother fox gave Terra a thankful look before they trotted away, side-by-side, back to their cozy den.

The Adventures of Tera Once upon a time, Tera decided to take a walk by the sea. There, she saw some children playing in the sand. She asked them what they were doing, and they told her that they had found many seashells and were digging in the sand to make a big pit, fill it with water, and place their seashells inside. As they were all digging together, one of the shells suddenly began to speak to them and asked if they wanted to enter a magical tunnel. Excited, they all answered,“YES!!!” Then the magical shell created a large tunnel, into which the children and Tera entered, not knowing where it would lead. They walked in amazement until suddenly, when the tunnel ended, they found themselves in their own backyard. They decided to show Tera their house and and offered her some ice cream to eat. Afterwards, they went outside to the yard, which was full of trees, and thought they
should show Tera all the trees and flowers they had. Tera observed, explored, and collected various treasures of nature—such as leaves, flowers, and more with great excitement. In the end, she said goodbye to the children and promised she would return so they could enjoy another adventurous day together! AggelikiSpanopoulou9thkindergarden ofRethymno
