A distinguished gentleman in a hat and long gray coat approached the girl and asked:
- Could I have some matches?
- How many? - the girl asked.
- All the ones you have in the box. - the man replied with a smile.
Standing up, the girl gave the entire box to the gentleman and received gold coins in return. Moved, the girl quickly ran home and told her parents everything. It turned out that the money she received allowed the family to buy a new, cozy, and above all, warm apartment. There was also plenty of money for food and new clothes. The kind gentleman in the hat and coat changed the girl's fate.

When the girl opened her eyes, she saw a thick envelope lying next to the boxes of matches. She opened it and saw tickets to warm countries for her and her family. Her heart was full of joy and hope.
Soon the girl spent wonderful holidays. She lay on the beach and enjoyed the warm sun. She drank drinks and ate tasty ice cream and fruit. She was happy and smiled every day.
After they came back, the life of her family changed. They had a warm home, work, and love. They had enough food and felt safe.

As soon as she woke up, the little girl found a small chest around her, in which, once opened, she found a small key.
The little girl immediately got up from the ground, forgot all about her fatigue, cold, and hunger, and went to look for the house.
After a few hours of searching, she arrived at the house she saw in the picture she had. She was pleasantly surprised when she tried the key she had on the door of the house and it opened.

When the little girl was standing all alone a strange man came across the corner. He was a kindhearted man. A stranger saw the girl. She was so small and sad. He asked if she had home and parents. Unfortunately, she was all alone. A man asked the girl to come with him to his house. He lived in a cozy cottage across the town. The girl nodded. They came to the house where the girl found two other girls. She was so happy to have home and family.
