We stuck pictures onto our glass door (as the window is too high for them to reach). The children enjoyed pointing and counting the objects. At this age (2-3 years) we try to teach them how to count up to number 5 only.

The objectives set for the lesson on the number 10 are as follows: to recognize the number 10, to count correctly up to 10, to associate the number with quantity, and to identify the number 10 in different contexts.

The children count the snowflakes and little clouds on the window and find that there are 10 of each.

Then they trace (on dotted spaces) the number 10 on a laminated sheet using colored markers.

Their tasks include associating the number with quantity (nuts, pompoms, snowflakes).
