We are delighted to present this digital book, a collaborative collection showing the results of a very special part of our project's space activities.
Aiming for the active involvement of families, we proposed a fun at-home challenge titled: "Making Moon Phases with Oreos!". Our students, with the helping hands of their parents, were invited to become "kitchen astronomers" for a day.
Their mission was to use Oreo-style cookies to represent the 8 phases of the Moon by carefully shaping the white cream. Subsequently, they arranged these edible moons in a circle around a drawing of the Earth and photographed the result.
