The fairy tale is a collaborative product of the partner schools participating in the project
“Captain Code – Mission 1: The Tiny Seed Guardians”.
The main goal is to highlight the importance of water for plant growth, with the project’s hero, Pi, acting as a helper. The fairy tale is based on collaboration, students’ imagination, and the use of Mathematics!

Once upon a time, in a quiet little garden, there was a tiny seed who felt very worried.“I am so small and so dry,” thought Tiny Seed.
“Will I ever grow into a big, strong plant?”

Just then, Pi, the friendly Mathematics hero, appeared beside Tiny Seed.“Hello, Tiny Seed,” said Pi gently. “I can help you find the right amount of water so you can grow. Not too little, not too much… but just enough!” And so, their water adventure began.

Suddenly, it started to rain in the forest. The rain began to water the two little seeds. Puddles of mud and water formed on the forest floor. As soon as the rain stopped, a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky!

The children took the littla seed and planted it in the schoolyard so they watched it grow and they promissed to take care of it and water it every day.
The children wanted to make sure that the little seed would always get enough water. To make it happen, they decided to prepare a water tank if it wouldn’t rain enough, and a shield that would protect the little seed if it would rain too much.

One morning, as the children gazed in amazement at the flower, they noticed something wonderful. Butterflies and bees were flying around the flower. The butterflies moved their colorful wings, and the bees buzzed softly, collecting nectar from the flower that seemed to smile even wider. The children sat quietly and watched the spectacle of nature.

At the end of the story, the magical flower gave a warm hug to the children who had taken such good care of her. Everyone was radiant with happiness!
