            Geçmişin Geleceğe Oyun Köprüsü 

    Oyun, tüm çocukların ortak dilidir. Ülkeler farklı olsa da çocukların neşelenmesi, gülmesi ve sevgisi aynı. Bu eTwining projesinde, Türkiye, Yunanistan ve İtalya'dan elde edilen bilgilere göre, sürekli olarak saklanan geleneksel çocuk oyunlarını bir aradan sonra bırakmak için.

Bu kitapta, kültürlerimizi aydınlatan pencereleri ve büyüklerimizin oynadıkları oyunları öğreneceğiz. Oyunu, hayal gücüyle resimlendiriliyor ve anlatılıyor. 

Bu şekilde   kendi kültürel yapımızı öğreniyoruz hem de farklı performans sergileyen oyunları keşfediyoruz.

    Zamansız oyunlar bize dostluğu, paylaşmayı, takım çalışması ve eğlence yoluyla öğrenmeyi öğretir. 

Bu kitapta, farklı milletlerden çocukları bir araya getirerek kültürler arasında oyun yoluyla bir köprü kuruyoruz.

    Çünkü oyun, birleşen ve hepimizi birleştiren evrensel bir mutluluktur.

Seksek, çocukların açık havada oynadığı eğlenceli ve geleneksel bir oyundur. Bu oyun denge, dikkat ve koordinasyon gerektirir.

Oyuna başlamadan önce yere tebeşirle tamamlanır kareler çizilir. Oyuncular küçük bir taş kullanırlar. İlk oyuncu taşı ilk kareye atar ve ardından tek ayak üzerinde karelerin arasında zıplayarak ilerlemeye başlar.

Oyuncu, taşındığı karenin üzerinden atlayarak diğer karelerden değişmeye devam ediyor. Oyuncu oğlu kareye ulaştığında geri döner ve taşı alır.

Oyuncu çizgiye basarsa, devam ederse veya taşı sıra yanlış kareye atarsa, bir sonraki oyuncuya geçer.

Seksek, çocukların denge, dikkat ve hareket becerilerini geliştirmelerine yardımcı olan eğlenceli, geleneksel bir oyundur.

Fine salt, coarse salt

This game is played with a relatively large number of children, who choose the “mother” by drawing lots. They form a circle, sit cross-legged and open their palms backwards. The “mother” stands outside the circle holding a handkerchief and sings while going round:

“Fine salt, coarse salt,

I lost my mother and I’m going to find her

She didn’t buy me shoes to go to the dance

And if she doesn’t buy them for me, I’ll be sad.”

While the “mother” sings, they leave the handkerchief onto the open palm of one of the children in the circle. The chosen child gets up and chases after the mother to catch them. The “mother” in order to win has to run fast and sit in the empty seat of the child that holds the handkerchief.

                                           King (Βασιλιάς)

The traditional game “King, King of the Twelve Swords” is a group children’s game that was (and still is) played in schoolyards and neighborhoods throughout Greece. It is a game of movement, role-playing and imagination.

One child is designated King. The other children stand in a row or opposite him and are the “subjects”. The children approach the king and say rhythmically: “King, King of the Twelve Swords, what business? ”The king replies: “Laziness!” (or “None!”)

Then the children ask again: “And the rest?” The king answers: “Work!”

The king chooses a job or profession (e.g. cook, builder, tailor, doctor) and begins to make movements that represent it, without speaking. The other children try to guess what job he does. Whichever child finds it first becomes the new king or if this has not been agreed upon, the game continues with the same role.

Beş Taş, küçük taşlarla oynanan eğlenceli ve geleneksel bir çocuk oyunudur. Oyuna dikkat, el becerisi ve hızlı hareketler gerektirir.

Oyunun farklı aşamaları var. İlk aşamada taşlar tek temel esaslıdır. Sonraki aşamalarda çiftler halinde, üçlü gruplar halinde veya hepsi birden kayıtlıdır.

Eğer bir oyuncu taşı yakalayamazsa veya kişiler hata yaparsa, sıra bir sonraki oyuncuya geçer.

Beş Taş oyunu, çocukların dikkatlerini, el-göz koordinasyonlarını ve hızlı düşünme becerilerini geliştirmelerine yardımcı olan eğlenceli, geleneksel bir oyundur.

3 Taş Oyunu (Three Stones Game)

Three Stones Game is a traditional intelligence and strategy game played by children. This game has been played in different regions for many years. Because of its simple rules, it is easy to learn and fun to play.

The game is usually played by two players. Each player has three stones. To play the game, a simple game board made of lines is drawn on the ground, and the stones are placed on the points of this board.

At the beginning of the game, players take turns placing their stones on empty points. After all the stones are placed, players can move their stones to adjacent empty points along the lines. The aim of the game is to place three stones in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.

The player who places three stones in the same line wins the game.

The Three Stones Game helps children develop attention, strategic thinking, planning, and problem-solving skills. It also supports cooperation and social communication because it is played with friends.

Oyuna başlamadan önce oyuncular iki gruba ayrıldı. Daha sonra hangi grubun başlama öncesindeki genel karar vermek için gruplar arasında kura değiştirilir. 
 Bundan sonra yere yedi adet yassı taş üst üste dizilir.

Ardından gruplardan biri taşların karşısında süreklilik gösteren bir mesafede (yaklaşık 5-10 metre) durur. 
Diğer grup ise taşların hemen arkasında bekliyor.

Uzakta gruptaki oyuncular sırayla üst üste dizilmiş taşlara üstten atarak onları devirmeye çalışırlar. Eğer bir oyuncu ıskalarsa, sıradaki grubun başka bir üyesine geçer.

Eğer taşlar atışlar sonucunda devrilirse, atan grup hemen kaçmaya başlar. Diğer grup (taşların arkadaki grup) topuyla oynamaya çalışır ve onları vurmaya çalışır. Kovalayan grubun bir oyuncusunun büyümesi sırasında, koşan gruptaki diğer oyuncular devrilen hızlarla hızla yeniden baş döndürmeye ve orijinal konumlarına geri dönmeye çalışırlar.

Vurulursa kazanırlar ve top atma sırası onlarda kalır. Ancak, üst üste dizilerek vurulurlarsa ve gruptaki tüm oyuncu yığını yenilmeden önce yeniden oluşturulduğunda, diğer grup onların yerini alır ve yeni kovalayan takım olur. Oyun bu şekilde devam eder.

Marble Game

Marble game is a traditional street game that children used to play in neighborhoods. One of the most famous forms of the game is “Trigonaki” (Small triangle).

Players draw a triangle on the ground and place several marbles inside. Then, from a distance, they try to hit the marbles inside the triangle, using a larger marble called “mana”.

The aim of the game is to get as many marbles as possible outside the triangle. The marbles that come out of the shape are won by the player who hit them.

This game requires good aiming, patience and practice, and is usually played in open spaces, such as yards or alleys.

What Is the Blind Man’s Buff Game and How Is It Played?

Blind Man’s Buff is a fun and active game that children play together. In this game, one player’s eyes are covered, and that player tries to catch the other players.

To start the game, one person is chosen as the tagger. The tagger’s eyes are covered with a cloth or handkerchief so they cannot see. The other players move around within the play area and try not to get caught by the tagger.

When the game begins, the tagger listens to the sounds made by the other players and tries to find and catch them. The other players can move quietly or sometimes make sounds to confuse the tagger.

When the tagger catches a player, they try to guess who they caught. If the guess is correct, the caught player becomes the new tagger and the game continues. If the guess is wrong, the same tagger continues the game.

While playing this game, some rules should be followed:

Players: 8–20 - Materials: a small object (a ring or a small toy) 

The players sit on the floor in a circle. One student leaves the group and becomes the detective. Another student is the wizard. While the detective is away, the wizard secretly gives a ring (or another small object) to one of the players sitting in the circle. When the detective comes back, they can ask three questions in English to discover who has the ring. For example: “Is it a boy?” / “Does he/she have short hair?” / “Is he/she wearing glasses?” All the players who match the description stand up. After three questions, the detective must guess who has the ring. If the detective guesses correctly, he/she wins the game. 

This game helps students: practice speaking and asking questions in English, develop logical thinking and deduction, improve observation skills learn vocabulary about physical appearance.

      DODGEBALL NEDİR VE NASIL OYNANIR?

     Bu bir takım oyunudur ve takımlar en az iki kişiden oluşur; ancak yeterli oyuncu yoksa üç kişi arasında takımlar olmadan da oynanabilir.

     Oyun sırasında takımlar, fırlatan takım ve topu savuşturan takım olarak adlandırılabilir.

      Atış yapan takımın oyuncuları, yaklaşık 15-25 metre aralıklarla iki sıra halinde dizilir. Savunma yapan takım üyeleri ise bu iki sıranın tam ortasına yerleştirilir. Atış yapanların amacı, elle attıkları topla savunma yapan takım üyelerine isabet ettirmektir. Atış yapanlar yerden veya yukarıdan atış yapabilirler. Vurulan oyuncu oyundan çıkar. Eğer atış yapanlar diğer takımın tüm üyelerine isabet ettirirse, bu oyuncular savunma yapan takım üyesi olur ve oyun yeniden başlar. Atış yapan takıma bir puan verilir. Savunma yapan takım, atış yapanların attığı topu yakalarsa, bir puan kazanır veya bazı varyasyonlarda vurulan takım üyelerinden biri oyuna geri döner.
