For every child who dares to dream, explore, create, and build friendships across Europe.
Together, we learn, imagine, and discover our world through STEAM and friendship.

Hello! My name is Maya, and I am a little girl from Romania.
I study in the preparatory class at “Dr. Ioan Mihalyi de Apșa” School in Sighetu Marmației.
I love discovering new places, meeting new friends, and learning through STEAM activities.
One day, I packed my European passport and my small suitcase because I was ready for a magical journey across Europe.
My adventure was about to begin!

Maya loved showing her friends the beautiful places from her hometown, Sighetu Marmației, in Romania.
Together, the children discovered wooden churches, monuments and local traditions through fun “color by code” activities.
They used colors, numbers and creativity to learn more about Romanian cultural heritage.
Each drawing became a little piece of Romania shared with Europe!

Maya loved discovering how art, science and creativity can work together through STEAM activities in Romania.
In her classroom from Sighetu Marmației, children explored colors, water, snow, traditions and cultural symbols while learning through play and experimentation.
They created rainy paintings, mixed colors like little scientists and discovered the beauty of Romanian culture through hands-on activities inspired by nature and local traditions.
Maya was proud to share with her European friends that Romania is a country full of creativity, traditions and joyful learning experiences.
Through STEAM, every child can turn imagination into art.
“Romanian traditions, colors and creativity came to life through STEAM activities.”

In Romania, Maya discovered that STEAM means creating, exploring and learning through joy.
Together, the children became little scientists and inventors, building robots, airplanes and creative projects inspired by imagination, culture and nature.
“Small hands can build big dreams.”

STEAM turns imagination into reality.
After her beautiful adventures in Romania, Maya traveled to sunny Greece, a country full of history, myths and wonderful traditions.
When she arrived, Greek children welcomed her with warm smiles and became her new friends.

Together, they explored ancient temples, famous monuments, and enchanting stories about heroes and gods from long ago.
Maya loved listening to Greek myths, because each story seemed like a secret treasure from the past.
In the kindergarten of Chora, Samos (class 1)the children learned through fun STEAM activities inspired by Greek culture.

Using cardboard, rulers, and teamwork, they built small temples like young architects.
They also created colorful mosaics, drew Greek symbols, and explored maps full of exciting places.

As they measured shapes and created patterns, Maya discovered that art and math can work together in amazing ways.
Each activity helped the children learn more about history, culture, and friendship.
Maya felt happy because she realized that children from different countries can create beautiful things together.

“Friendship builds bridges between cultures.”

Maya’s journey in Greece continued near the sparkling sea and beautiful nature.
Together with her Greek friends, she explored the world through science, creativity and discovery.

The children in Kindergarten of Chora, Samos (class 1)made exciting water experiments and learned how important the sea is for people, animals and nature.
They talked about recycling, protecting the environment and keeping beaches and parks clean for everyone.
Maya loved working in teams with her new friends.

Together, they shared ideas, solved problems and discovered that learning becomes more fun when everyone helps each other. Through STEAM activities, the children experimented, created and explored the wonders of the natural world.
They learned that every small action can help protect our planet.
Maya understood that even children can become little scientists and nature protectors when they work together with kindness and respect

“Together we care of our world.”

During her adventure in Greece, Maya met children who spoke different languages but shared the same smiles, dreams, and feelings.
In 2d Kindergarten of Samos ,even when the words were different, friendship helped everyone understand one another.

They painted pictures, created projects together, and shared ideas from their cultures and traditions.

She discovered that colors, music, drawings, and teamwork can become a universal language for all children.
Every activity brought them closer and helped them build strong friendships filled with respect, kindness, and joy.
Maya realized that friendship has no borders and that children everywhere can dream together of a better future.

“Different languages, same dreams.”

After her inspiring time in Samos, Maya’s journey took a magical turn as she joined the brilliant children of Class 1 Primary School Lunamatrona (Italy) for a brand-new adventure. This time, the classroom transformed into a bustling laboratory of light, color, and high-tech creativity.
Together, they embarked on a mission to explore not just the physical world, but the values that bring people closer together. Here is how Maya and her new classmates combined cutting-edge technology, math, and the powerful message of peace.

The children became young filmmakers, using technology to bring a very important message to life.
The Art of Storytelling: Together, they wrote a beautiful story all about peace, friendship, and understanding.

Maya watched in awe as the children mastered the Tangram, an ancient puzzle that turns math into a creative game.
Geometric Exploration: By manipulating the geometric shapes, the class discovered how triangles, squares, and parallelograms can slide, rotate, and fit together to create entirely new figures.
Spatial Thinking: It was the perfect proof that shapes are the building blocks of our imagination

The classroom became a theater of light as the children experimented with how light travels through different materials.
Scientific Discovery: They classified objects into three magical categories: opaque (blocking the light to cast bold shadows), translucent (letting a soft glow slip through), and transparent (perfectly clear)

The young innovators stepped into the world of robotics and computer science using LEGO kits and a secret language of colors.
Engineering with LEGO: The children built incredible models, learning the basics of mechanics and structural design.

To crown their amazing journey, the class used all their teamwork skills to construct a magnificent Ship of Peace entirely out of LEGO bricks.

Maya was especially excited

when her journey brought her to the beautiful village of Poienile de Sub Munte, in Romania, where she visited
Școala Gimnazială nr. 4 Poienile de Sub Munte.
There, she met wonderful children who proudly shared the traditions, creativity, and cultural treasures of the Ukrainian community living in Romania.

Together, they discovered that bridges between people can also be built through stories, art, music, and kindness.

The children participated in exciting STEAM activities inspired by nature, local traditions, and digital creativity. They explored mathematics through games, created artistic projects, experimented like little scientists, and used technology to communicate and collaborate with their European friends.
Maya loved how every activity combined imagination, teamwork, and cultural identity.

In Poienile de Sub Munte, Maya understood that learning is even more beautiful when children share their traditions with pride and open their hearts to other cultures.
She realized that every school, every child, and every culture adds a unique piece to the great European bridge of friendship.
“Different cultures, one shared future.”

When Maya finally returned home to Sighetu-Marmației, she was very happy to see her classroom and her friends from the Step by Step preparatory class again. Everyone gathered around her with excitement, eager to hear stories from her wonderful European journey.

Day by day, Maya shared everything she had discovered in the countries she visited. She told the children about the beautiful white houses and ancient traditions of Greece, the delicious food, the music, and the dances that made every celebration special. Then, she spoke about Italy, where she admired famous monuments, colorful streets, art, and the warm spirit of the people.
The children listened carefully and compared the traditions, languages, songs, and cultural symbols from each country.

Together, they realized that every place in Europe is unique and beautiful in its own way. Maya also explained how children from different countries can learn, create, and work together through friendship and education.
Inspired by Maya’s stories, the class decided to build a “Bridge of Friendship” decorated with drawings, flags, mathematical symbols, and cultural elements from all the partner countries. The bridge became a symbol of unity, collaboration, and respect for diversity.

At the end of the adventure, Maya smiled and said:
“Even if our journey is ending, our friendships and discoveries will continue forever.”
Together, we learned that STEAM, culture, and friendship can connect children from all around Europe and help us build a brighter future together.
