I lived in the forest with my mum.We were happy among beautiful trees
and pretty flowers. But one day....

Men came and took me awayfrom my mum to town in a place
with other animals.

The animals lived behind the walls.They had food and drink, only they
where not happy. Why?....

I lived with other animals behindthe bars. They were kind to me, loved
me, cared about me, but I missed my
mum and I was unhappy

And one night.........There wasterrible thunder. lightning and lots
of rain the whole night....

In the morning most of the animals were dead,drowned in the muddy water. Our cages
were destroyed. Those who could escape especially
lions, tigers, bears were killed by people. What could
I do? I remained up on a hill frightened, trembling,
did not know what to do.....
-Mum, where are you... Help me....-I whispered all the
time, but could not even move or get away....
