The Girl and the Monster

There was a village, where lived a little girl. Her house was near the volcano. She lived there with her mother. One day mother said: “My dear, please go to the river and fetch some water.”

The girl went to the river. When she was taking water, she saw a monster. The girl was excited.
“Grr!” said the monster to the girl.
The girl exclaimed, “Wow, this is wonderful.”

“Don’t be scared! We will help you,” said mother.
Suddenly she saw mother and other people.

The girl didn’t realise what happened when the monster fell into the water. She thought the monster had died.
The girl was crying. “Don’t cry my dear. It was a monster. Everything will be well,” said mother.

Suddenly the volcano woke up and started burning. Everyone was screaming.

The girl and her mother jumped into the river. They were alive because the monster helped them. When they were swimming in the water they couldn’t breathe. The monster got them to the safe place. Mother was terrified, but the girl was happy. She thanked the moster.
