Once there lived a clever Frog in a big swamp. She was not very nice, but very kind, serious and clever. The Frog liked her swamp and did everything to make it better. She wanted to make her swamp the best one in the world.

Several times her friends, ducks, asked her to travel to the South with them and to see the world, but the clever Frog remembered the fairy tale about a frog, which travelled with ducks. The ending of this story was very sad and she never agreed.

Several times the Frog caught arrows, which young princes shot to find wives, but she remembered how difficult life of the fairy tale Frog-The-Queen in the palace was and she always hid the arrows in the swamp and never spoke to princes, who were searching for them.

The Frog cared of her native swamp and tried to make it better and beautiful. Once she asked her friends, ducks, to bring her seeds of nice flowers from abroad, made a fence out of princes' arrows and grew a lot of incredible flowers.

Her swamp garden was very famous. The King of the frogs learnt about this garden and visited it to see the beautiful flowers. When he saw the clever Frog, he liked her very much. He always dreamt to find a nice hard-working wife to make his kingdom better together. He asked the Frog to marry him and she agreed. They lived long lives and were as happy as they could.
