I like Puzzles

Once there was a girl named Patty McPat who loved puzzles.

She played with them at school,

in her room,

and even with her parents and silly dog!

Patty McPat was lonely. She was kind to everyone she met, but never made friends.

Puzzles?

Um... No thanks.

She tried to make friends at the candy store,

That's all she does

Puzzles?

She asked to play in school,

Oh No! Not puzzles again

And she even tried to make friends while walking to school.

Most kids in Patty's class do not understand her because she is a little different.

Patty has

Autism.

Although she is different, Patty McPat just wanted a friend to play with.

Until one day at school, when Patty was playing by herself...

a boy asked her to play!

Patty was so happy! This was her first friend!

Now, Patty has fun every day with her friend who likes her for who she is!
