I dedicate this book to my Mom, Dad, Older Sister, Mrs. Pavi, Mr. Chris, Anjela and my family and friends.

One casual day, the McLan children McKenna and Kylie were eating breakfast. All of a sudden, there was a loud sound of shattering glass!
The twins looked outside, and saw that one of the shops was broken into. It was their friend who owned Jessie's Jewels.
They put on their shoes and checked it out. Jessie's store was robbed, and the girls were on the case!
The girls wanted to play on the computer because they were taking a break. As soon as they turned on the screen, they saw Mr. Duncan's website. They searched the website, thinking they might find some clues.
As they were looking at the jewels on the website, they found the same jewels as the ones that were stolen from Jessie. Then they looked closer at the jewels and did more research. By the time they were done, they saw very small markings on the jewels.
So they asked Jessie if there were any marks on the jewels that were stolen. Jessie said, "Yes, there were my initials, but they are so small you need a magnifying glass to see them." The twins got a magnifying glass and biked to Mr. Duncan's rented house.
Then they rang the doorbell and Mr. Duncan answered door. The girls asked at the same time, "Did you steal Jessie's Jewels?"
Mr. Duncan said,"I did not do it."
Then McKenna asked, "May we look at your jewels?"
"Yes of course, I have nothing to hide," he said.
The girls took out their magnifying glasses and looked at the jewels and showed Mr. Duncan Jessie's initials. McKenna called the police and Kylie locked the door. The police came through the back door, Mr. Duncan got arrested and Jessie got her jewels back.
