You need: a tray, a plastic bottle,
aluminum foil, brown paper, vinegar, food colors, baking soda, pebbles and plastic trees to decorate








Cut the plastic bottle and wrap it in aluminum foil to make a volcano "vent"
Put the "volcano vent" on a tray and wrap brown paper around it.









Decorate with plastic trees and pebbles for rocks
Mix vinegar and food color to create "lava"





Pour 3 spoonfuls of baking soda and the "lava" in your volcano
Watch what happens!!

Today's lesson:
Making a volcano in class
Hello, I'm Vicky!
Hello, I'm Tim!


Things you need:
-a large baking tray
-a small plastic bottle
-a bottle of vinegar
-a packet of baking soda
-a vial of food color
-aluminum foil
-plastic trees, houses &some pebbles
-brown wrapping paper









Use the brown paper to wrap the plastic bottle and decorate it with plastic trees and pebbles for rocks.





In a cup mix vinegar with food color.
Add 3 spoonfuls of soda in your volcano and pour the vinegar/color mix






Pour them in your volcano
And watch what happens!

Early in the morning...
Maria goes to the forest to pick some nice fruit for her mum.

It is already noon and Maria is not ready yet. Irene offers to help.


Thank god!
There's the
bridge.
The girls finish with the fruit but now they have to carry them across the river. Fortunately, there's an old bridge...

-Won't you get tired over the bridge with all this fruit?
-I'll be fine don't worry!


I can't do it!
My leg is hurt.
But a few minutes later Maria seems to need help.

Irene rushes through the old bridge to help her friend.

-Oh, no!! Watch out!
-Help! Help! Idon't know how to swim!

Oh, I can't swim! I can't cross the river!
The little hedgehog decides to build a bridge of tree trunks.
'' I have an idea. I'll make a bridge with tree trunks.''
But the bridge is not strong enough.

Then the little hedgehog decides to make a path in the river with stones.
The forest animals come along to help their friend. Together they build a strong and beautiful bridge.
