Dear All,

Let me tell you more about this book. The students of 17 SDG Project ( 5 schools around Europe) came together and answered some questions about which goal they would like to study on. Regarding the results we agreed to work on 5 goals one of which was GOAL 17 PARTNERSHIP FOR GOALS. We defined 5 outcomes regarding the expertise of the mentor teachers and the students were asked which outcome they would like to work on. One of those outcomes was “WRITING A STORY BOOK OR KIDS”. In this book, you can see the collaborative work 4 groups of students. Writers, Illustrator, Editors, Narrator and Technical Support. The ıillustrations were made by one student. Because it was important to keep a unique technique. Seeing the superheroes, the writers wrote superhero stories and the editors gave feedback to their peers to reach a better quality outcome. After all, the narrators, add sound effects and their voices to the stories. All this effort, came together with a technical assistance of a student.

We used all our capacity, put effort, tried to our best to train the younger members of society to increase their awareness on 17 SDGs.

NO POVERTY

ENDING POVERTY AROUND THE WORLD IS MY MISSION!

Hi! My name is Chosniel. My purpose is to end the poverty in the world and to make all children grow up in a planet without poverty. Millions of people lack basic resources to lead a decent life and I don’t like it. My goal is to make sure that everyone has access to food, shelter clothing, healthcare and education. This will make them happy. So I came to earth from my planet to help the people in need, especially children because I like them very much.

As you know, I'm a superhero so I have some super powers. Thanks to my special goggles, I can see the people who need help from anywhere I find them and fly to them. I distribute food clothes and money to poor families. I also give toys and gift to children. I provide medicine to sick people.

 By force of my task, I have a lot of friends that ı help all around the world. 

 I believe that WE ARE MORE POWERFUL THAN POVERY.

GOAL 2

ZERO HUNGER

ENDING HUNGER IS MY MISSION.

My name is Meally, I'm a superhero. Ending hunger in the world is my mission. I'm very worried about hunger in the world. Many poor people don't have money to buy food and sometimes many of them die from malnutrition. Other people, on the other hand, throw away leftover food because they are rich and can afford it and I don't like it. My task is to end hunger in the world and stop the waste of food. As I told you, I'm a superhero and, like all superheroes, I have a superpower. My superpower is to rain food in the poor huts of poor families. In the houses of all children and kids, I deliver comics, fairy tales and stories that teach them how to prepare healthy meals and don't waste it.

As I always say: "Super Meally, to defeat hunger and make everyone live well!"

GOOD HEALTH AND WELL BEING

MY MISSON IS TO ENSURE HEALTHY LIVES AND PROMOTE WELL-BEING

Hi! My name is Mia. My purpose is to make all people healthy and create a healthy world. Most people live in unhealthy environments. In some places, especially poor people can’t find doctors or medicine when they are sick. It is unfair. We should unite to heal each living creature, do our best and use the latest technologies to make them healthy again. Most people die because of this problem. I feel sorry for these people. I am also trying to reduce the global maternal and newborn mortality ratio, end the epidemics. Health is the most precious thing in this world.

My goal is to heal sick people around the world. My goal is important because everyone has a right to live properly. I came to Earth from my planet to heal sick people. If you are sick and you can’t find medicine, you should call me. I have a magical syringe. This syringe can cure anyone. If you need to help about health, I can find you with my bracelet.

Hi!My name is Teachy. I want people all over the world to receive a quality education. There are a lot of children growing up in the world who are illiterate. In order for humanity to develop and advance, each individual must be at least literate and have a certain level of knowledge. Therefore, it is the world's responsibility to ensure that people receive a quality education. But people don't care that. So I will solve the problem with my super powers. I can teach illiterate children to read and write in their sleep, but I can't do this forever. It is not enough to know how to read and write. I will help as much as I can, but when my power comes to an end, all humanity must deal with this problem. 

It is my task to ensure that people receive quality education and I can ensure that children are literate, but I cannot do more. You have to help me.

 I hope one day we can completely OVERCOME IGNORANCE.

Hi! My name is Anafiel. My purpose is to provide gender equality so the children can grow up in a world without biases based on their genders. Millions of people are not able to live the life they want because of something they can’t choose, their gender. Lots of women are not working, getting paid equally or promotion even they deserve. There are so many boys in undeveloped countries who leave their dreams to became a ballerina, hairdresser etc. because of reactions. My duty is ending all these things. As a superhero, I have some powers which help to achieve my duty. For example, when someone feels under pressure, I teleport there. Mostly I just talk with the one who caused this situation because gender inequality is just exists in our minds. But I could also show people the visualization of two worlds, in one world the things are done by women and in other world the things are done by man.

I believe that one day my costume would be just one color. When I ensure women and men’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities in political, economic and public life, I will wear white clothes. Men and women in equality, endowed with same dignity.

Hello! My name is Manakel. My name is a mythological angel`s name and the angel Manakel`s feature is taking care of the species which live under the water.

 I am hero of the water and my purpose is to prevent water shortage and be sure that everybody has enough water for themselves. Also i take care of the underwater life and it is really important to keep the seas and the oceans clean. Sanitation means cleaning the sewage water and protect public health by improving the conditions. This means, I don`t just take care of the animals and water sources, I also take care of people and their health. As you can understand, the name fits with me so I love my name. My power is in my arms and when I see dirty water, I take my arms into the water and I give my energy to water and the water clean itself very quickly. I get my energy from the clean water on the Earth`s surface. If the clean water runs out, my energy will end so if you want to help me, keep the water clean. CLEAN WATER IS EVERYONE`S RIGHT!

Hi there! My name is Stella. We need energy in every aspect of our lives from our refrigerator in our kitchens to ventilators in hospitals. Without energy it will be impossible to lead our lives. There are still a lot of people who can’t use  electricity and I want to end their troubles with my superpowers.My superpower is to collect bio-wastes with my Super-Bag and turn them into bio-energy immediately. This power can be defined as the most clean energy source. Let me tell you about renewable energy sources. They are  sunlight, wind, rain, tides, waves, and geothermal heat. Renewable energy is energy that is collected from renewable resources, which are natural. So they do not give any harm to environment. Also people have an opportunity to access to energy by getting rid of their wastes. I can use my superpower anytime and anywhere. We use this type of energy in the space, where I live. The only difference is we use larger bags to collect space debris. So LET’S TURN THE UNWANTED TO THE MOST NEEDED!

Hello! My name is Hope. I love helping people . I have a secret. Actually, I am a superhero. My goal is to end unemployment and to grow the economy. Unfortunately, lots of people have no job. They want to find a decent job but they cannot. I want to help them. On my 18th birthday , my parents gave me a bracelet. And there is a world symbol on it. My mom said to me " you can help people with this bracelet". Thanks to this bracelet, i find unemployed people in the world. I learn what they want, what they love and equip them with qualifications. I find jobs for them. I find children forced to work and I save them from bad people. Economic growth is an increase in the the production of goods and services.If each country can find their citizens right jobs regarding their likes, qualifications, it will grow its economy,it will be a rich country and each citizen will get benefit from this.So one of my duty is to make countries realize their potentials.I love being a superhero because making people happy makes me happy and I want our world to be a better place .And i know we can do this. We can make our world a better place, but of course together. LOVE YOUR JOB !  GROW THE ECONOMY! WORK FOR OUR WORLD!

Hi,my name is T-Nine and foster innovation. My aim is to develop quality, reliable, sustainable infrastructure to support economic development and human well-being, with a focus on affordable and equitable access for all. I am made of aluminum and have many electrical wires and circuits inside. But I,as a superhero will help humanity by promoting an industrial innovation more respectful of the environment, men’s health and people in need. Also I am trying to increase access to information and communications technology and strive to provide universal and affordable access to the Internet. So, all people will be able to use internet effectively if I work hard. I am trying to reach small villages and poor houses and leave them smartphones,computers and internet connection. Internet is not a facility that only rich people can reach. It is a necessity. To acquire more power and to perform great heroic endeavours,I always tell my personal slogan: TECHNOLOGY AND MAN GO HAND IN HAND. The slogan means that technology and man must go together respecting Earth’s sources and people welfare.

I am Hector. I am a superhero and my goal is defeating discrimination because I want to make the world a better place. The discrimination is a prejudice that a person has about another person or a group of people regarding the country of origin, the skin' s color, the culture, the religion or the race. t' s an evil that still exists today and many people discriminate because it makes them feel strong or just to laugh.As a super hero, I can' t really stand is race discrimination.

Race or gender or nationality is not a thing that you can choose so these things can not make you superior to another. I know that there are many different races, but the most important thing is that we all human. Therefore I want to eliminate all the discrimination in the world. I started my mission when, one day, I met a child named Jack. Jack was bullying the other child for his skin' s color because he came from another country. I thought about what could be the best way to show that child the right way to behave and imagined moving to a world where there was no disparity and discrimination.It was then that I discovered my superpower: to move in parallel worlds to show all the children the right way to improve our world. I, then, took Jack with him and together they went to an ideal world, a wonderful world. Here Jack could see that the people got along well and also that they loved each other. Jack was amazed at all this. When I brought him home in the real world, Jack thanked me and promised that he would have never discriminate anyone again. He also promised that he would no longer make people suffer and would never discriminate anyone. In fact, the only way to stop the discrimination in the world is to make people open their eyes and make them understand that in this way they only feed hatred.From that day onwards, I, everyday teleport children and kids to other better parallel worlds and always leaves them saying: " Remember to spread my motto- Racism and discrimination is always wrong.

Hello my name is Tosla, my duty is to organize sustainable cities. By 2030,  I am trying to ensure access for all to adequate, safe and affordable housing and basic services and upgrade slums. Each citizen in the city should have equal opportunities in basic needs in the cities. We should try to use our technology to built smart, renewable and nature friendly cities. Also we have to think about facilities for both elders and children. We should provide access to safe, inclusive and accessible, green and public spaces, in particular for women and children, older persons and persons with disabilities. And I know that I am not alone. Let me tell you about my superpowers, time travel, immortality, invisibility, reading the mind of people, using a hundred percent of my brain. I go to the future and I show the people the worst times the world, when I come back, I tell them they should think about the value of their cities. I am trying to reduce the number of deaths and the number of people affected from disasters, including water-related disasters, with a focus on protecting the poor and people in vulnerable situations. Another thing is to protect and safeguard the world’s cultural and natural heritage. So we should take care of our cities. They not only provide us a place to live in but also they will be our heritage to our kids.

Greetings! My name is Prudence (my friends also call me Puri so feel free to use the name you like better.) Currently I’m working hard to show people that they should be more aware of what they need and how much they need it. Because you see when you buy something more than you need or don’t need, all those products are bound to be thrown away. What is the benefit of spending money on that useless thing? But of course,  it does some good for companies. But both environment and your wallet effected badly. The state of the society at the moment is so bad that when people start hearing about world economy or environmental pollution they get depressed and don’t watch the news because of it. Okay we understand but what should be done about it? Rather than this question please ask yourself what you can do to waste minimum. Ask yourself ”Do I really need this product?” before buying it. Don’t fall for discounts like ”take 10 of these pay 5!” it may sound like it will be cheaper but you will be paying for something that you don’t need. I warn you, don’t underestimate how big the consumption are. There are already 7,8 billion human on earth. World can’t even saturate all of us, there are starvation and drought at some areas on earth, let alone us being wasteful. Hopefully,  I was able to show you importance of my goal. I liked you! I would like to meet you again.

I am Clima. I am not from a specific country or city. I am an earthling. My task is protecting our home, our world, from climate change and global warming. Our old planet has seen  a lot of natural events and finally it has perfect balance. But now,  the mankind have been disturbing our old planet. They have built a lot of things and still they are building. They are using fossil fuels, burning or cutting down the rain forests. None of these actions are good for Earth. I have some superpowers. I am talking with animals and trees. Some trees lost lots of relatives and friends. What is more, they cannot produce enough  oxygen.  Because their number is not enough and people produce great amount of carbon dioxide. Animals feel same. They are loosing their home. They cannot find food or water. Their habitat is being destroyed. People do not care them. People are hunting them just for fun. They are dying out. Of course not all people are like this. Some of them are my friends. They help me while protecting nature. The best solution is to teach the people how to live harmoniously with nature. They must know they are not alone this world. I said OUR home. They must use renewable energy. Our world give us a lot of sources like wind and sun. Also we can making all public transportation free. Government can make more bicycle road. We can go somewhere with bicycle.  We need to understand, if we lose our old home, we lose everything. We must will get well our old home. WE MUST CHANGE, NOT CLIMATE.

Hello! My name is Tethys. About 70% of earth surface is covered by water. Aquatic life is quite adventurous and is vastly diverse. Life under water is full of many beautiful creatures which are rarely seen and many people can’t even name them. My purpose is protecting all kind of living creature in oceans. Day by day water pollution and illegal hunting  is rising. Because of this, variety of living creatures in oceans and seas is decreasing. If this situation continues, life in the oceans will be over . I want to prevent that. I came to Earth from my planet for stop water pollution, illegal hunting  and make oceans a habitat for underwater creatures.I will make this with my super power. I can breath under water and I can talk  with all kind of sea creatures. When I see illegal hunters , I warn fishes. Thus, they escape from hunters. I can shape the water for fighting hunters. I can clean water with my magical net. Will you help me?

Hello! I am Tyron. My goal is to save life on Earth: people, animals, plants and also their ecosystem. As you well know, many species of animals are endangered now and many have already died out. Many people, however, remain indifferent to this problem by living without respecting nature. Some good people are trying to protect  inland freshwater ecosystems, forests, wetlands, mountains and drylands with obligations under international agreements. But we still need some more support. I have a lot to do for example I and my friends combat desertification. Being a superhero I have powers, for example, I can see the animals that need help and I can communicate with them. So I warn them in case of danger and shout them my slogan: Don’t worry! “Tyron is here for you and all the Earth’s creatures” To save the planet, however, I also need your help ... you can avoid wasting water, electricity, paper and plastic, and the best of all plant  trees ...I believe in you!

Hello! I'm Sadie. I've been through something different recently. It was a beautiful morning and I was getting ready for school. Mom and dad were a little nervous. I didn't want to know why. It was quite dark, warm and frightening. I didn't really care, so I started walking to school. There was no one in the streets. I was alone. I heard a loud noise when I was walking. I wanted to escape. I almost got to school. I think I understand that. THERE WAS A WAR. When I went to school quickly, there were very few people in the school. Security wouldn't let me in. When I told him I wanted to go into school and attend my classes, he didn't let me. They took away my education right. I called the Department of education for justice. But they didn't care about me. I felt so bad. I couldn't get into class like the other students, there was no justice. I was so scared I suddenly woke up. It was all a dream. I realized I didn't want a world like this. I did research after that dream. Together we can make our voices heard and achieve justice and peace on many issues. When we see there's no justice, we shouldn't be silent. We must not separate anyone and live in peace. We can fight for powerful institutions. We should want justice and admit that the rule of law is very important at the national and international levels for all. We should work together to promote and enforce non-discriminatory law. I don’t think I should be a super hero to say “No” to war. So, each of us is a super hero shouting for “Peace”.
