G g

A habitat is a place where an animal lives. It provides the animal with food, water and shelter. There are many different sorts of habitats around the world from forests around the world and mountain slopes to deserts. Sadly, people destroy many habitats around the world.
I i
I is for ice
Many years ago, much of the Earth was covered in ice. Nowadays, the only ice sheets on Earth are found in Antarctica and Greenland. Global warming is making waters warmer, which is causing the ice sheets to melt fast. This is harmful to wildlife in these places, like polar bears that use ice to stand on and hunt.
J j
J is for jaguars
Jaguars live in rainforests, swamps, grasslands, forests and deserts. Most have orange brown fur with black spots but some are all black. Hunting and farming left less food and habitat for jaguars, and today they are endangered.

Some natural resources are the air, water, soil, plants, animals, wind, the sun, and land.
O o
O is for the oceans
Oceans contain almost 98 percent of all the water on Earth. The five oceans on Earth are the Pacific, the Atlantic, The Indian, the Arctic and the Southern. Many people depend on the ocean for food and even work so we need to protect our oceans by not polluting and cleaning up litter.
P p
P is for the polar bear
Polar bears live in a place called the Atlantic. They are big, powerful white bears. Polar bears are endangered. They need to hunt seals, and the sea ice is slowly melting away because of global warming.
Q q
Q is for quote

U u
U is for underwater reefs
