Daisy entered the house and immediately rushed to her room. Her father yelled: "Where are you going, what's wrong with you?" She simply went to bed, covered her head with a pillow, and tried to think. The dog was still at the door. David had already fed him and gave him water. Her father asked Daisy why she brought the dog home, but she didn't want to talk to anyone. David and dad put the dog in the garage.
The next day at school was very difficult for her. She hated a dog that reminded her of her mother's death and at the same time she felt the enormous love she had to give to some loneliness.
Daisy didn't talk to anyone at school that day ... not even her best friend Audrey ... Audrey respected Daisy because she knew about Daisy's situation. Daisy got on the bus and decided to walk home again. Audrey was also there and she said: Wait! Daisy stopped.
Audrey said: Look I wanted to tell you that I miss you. I miss our friendship. I know it's hard for you, but know that I'm here for you. Daisy hugs her.
And then suddenly a huge black dog jumped at them. Daisy started screaming and backing away . Audrey hugged a big black dog and said: Don't be afraid. It's my Benny! Daisy knew she had a dog, but at that moment, she neither recognized him nor liked him jumping on them.
Audrey asked her: Why do you not like dogs? Daisy answered: You know why. A dog killed my mom.
Oh no Daisy, dog didn't kill your mom ... you can't look like that ... did a car kill your mom? Then why are you in the car? Audrey also said: If you look like that she could have been killed by a dog, a tree, a car, a ride. And you're not angry at the tree, nor the car ... only the dogs ... Daisy, they are so cute and Benny is my best friend ... like you ... you know it was an accident with mom ...

Daisy was angry with Audrey, her mom who abandoned her, the whole world.
On the way back home , the dog she rescued yesterday was following her. She rushed him again to go home without even knowing that he had spent the night in garage.
Daisy rushed into the room without saying hello. She had a bad night's sleep that night, but when she fell asleep, she dreamed of her mother.

In her sleep, mom told her that the white dog had been sent to protect her and that he was her friend because she was lonely. Mom told her: I know he can't replace me but you won't be so lonely with him. Let the dog remind you of me and take care of him Daisy because he needs you.
Daisy woke up and went downstairs. David was already playing in the yard with the dog. The instant the dog saw Daisy he jumped into her arms. Daisy was surprised, she didn't expect such a reaction, but he licked her on the nose and then Daisy laughed.

David asked dad if they can keep him. Dad said: Of course if no one answered that looking for him.

For the next few days Daisy enjoyed a new company and meeting a dog. She named him Red after her mother's favorite color. Red was grateful that Daisy had adopted him. Dad and David were happy because Daisy laughed again.
Daisy and Audrey are now looking for long walks with their two pets: Red and Benny. Mom is still missing, but it wasn't so much pain anymore because Red had entered Daisy's heart.
