Bee bot travel to Greece
Linda the bee bot, was a robot who wanted to travel a lot and to meet new friends !
Hello! My name is Linda and i love to travel !
Do you think that is time for a new trip?
Let's start it!

She decided to start this trip from Greece and the beautiful city of Trikala. Her trip just has begun!

Wow! What Impressive bridge!
During her walk to the city of Trikala which be crossed by Lithaios river, tributary of Pineios, she saw a big bridge in the center of the city over the river of The bridge was so beautiful ,made by iron and had lot of different lights at the night.
Wanted to learn more about the central bridge of Trikala city ,she learned that is a very old bridge ,made by French engineers at 1888 that edited design, study and construction, apparently inspired by the bridges of the Seine.
The minerals were shipped from France and it is an architectural jewel and a symbolic bridge.
The central pedestrian bridge of Trikala is the main connecting point of new and old city.
Nowadays the bridge is a place for rest and a pole of attraction for visitors.

Next stop was the castle of Trikala that located at the north-eastern side of the town. It was built by the Emperor Justinian (6th century) in the place of the ancient acropolis of Trikki.

Around the castle is the old city of Trikala, Varusi, where there are old buildings built between 17th and 19th century, with a uniform architecture. Here are located some of the best restaurants, coffee

shops, and bars in town. So Linda decided to visited this beautiful neighborhood !And she was really excited!

Next stop was the railway station of city. Another very old and beautiful building !Perfect way to travel by train ,Linda thought.

Time to visit the old Kursum Mosque an Ottoman mosque, a building from period 1550–60, most likely in the late 1550s

But how could we miss visiting Meteora? The giant rocks of Meteora, created 60 million years ago, over the town of Kalambaka are unique in all over the world.

Metéora is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Linda really enjoyed her visiting there

In the region around of Trikala there are lot of arced bridges and Linda decides to visited the bridge of Paleokaria with the water fall.Next stop

the arched bridge of Pili, which is a classic example of stonemasonry of the area. This arched bridge was built in 1514 by St. Vissarion and up to 1936 was the only link between the plain of Thessaly and the villages of Pindos.

One more important sight of the region is Theopetra Cave
and Linda could not miss it!
This cave is located in the chalky hill of Theopetra village, 4km away from Kalabaka. Research has proved that the cave has been inhabited from the Middle Paleolithic period until the end of the Neolithic period. The cave findings give to it a scientific importance for the evolution of human beings.
This unique cave with its great location, its superb access to fresh clean water and its vantage point, served like a magnet for early inhabitants who could recognize from miles away such key advantages. So those early human settlers used it continuously for more than 130.000 years.

Around the region there are also lot of monasteries and churches.
One of them is the old church of Porta Panagia

After this church Linda visited the monastery of Doliana ,a monastery with special architecture having 13 domes !

The Prefecture of Trikala is a natural and historic monument and can be characterized as one of the most developed areas culturally and touristically.
Is the place where myths were born, where experiences never end...
Is a place dotted with unique, invaluable historical monuments.
A visitor has endless choices, from the rocks and monasteries of Meteora, Byzantine churches and the monasteries of the local villages, castles and ancient theatres to the arched bridges of this region.
Before she departure from Trikala Linda thought to visit the Kindergarten of Rιzario! She heard that in this school there are some robots like her and she wanted to meet them !

Linda departed from Trikala and travel to many places of Greece and saw lot of ancient places and the Acropolis of Athens too !

When Linda ,the bee bot saw a plane flying in the sky she remembered that she could also travel to France and meet some friends there!
Linda went to Athens airport and departure to France!

Bee bot arrives in Estonia!
Last destination !
Bee-Bots adventure in Estonia.
Hello, this is a bubblebee and its name is Bee-Bot.
This is not an Estonian name. Bit it is very similar to Estonian word „Meepott“ (honey bot), what is very suitable name for a bumblebee because bubblebees just love honey.
On one summer morning Bee-Bot received a letter from a beetle and that’ s when the adventure started.

Picture number 1
This time Bee-Bot finds itself on an adventure in Estonia during midsummer day and the bonfire. The beetle asked Bee-Bot to come and visit but where is the beetle? But beetle is very tired of all the work done during the night and therefore the beetle is resting under the fern.
Probably little Bee-Bot meets its dear friend beetle soon.
Meanwhile Bee-Bot collects some honey because here grows many beautiful flowers. There are daisies and bells and...
There is a pretty young girl also picking some flowers. Bee-Bot thinks that she is collecting also honey and flies to her.

Picture number 2
This girls is Liisa but she is not collecting honey. She was collecting daisies.
Liisa braids herself
a wreath for the midsummer day festival.
Liisa looks like a princess with her folk clothes and daisies wreath.

Picture number 3
Now Bee-Bot has collected a lot of honey. But Bee-Bot feels hungry.
From the farm house away wind carries a sweet smell. Bee-Bot flys there.
Maybe there Bee-Bot finds something to eat. Suddenly somebody calls Liisa to come home.

Scone is ready, cold milk is waiting. But there is no honey to put on the scone.
Picture number 4
Bee - bot tasted some scone. Oh how good the scone tasted with honey and milk.
Then came inside a young strong man. He was Jaan. Jaan is Liisas groom and they will go to midsummer day festival together.
When the scone was eaten Jaan said now it is time to go to the festival and see the bonfire. Jaan took his hat and accordion and they started to go.
Bee-Bot desided to go with them and flyed on Liisas wreath on her head.

Picture number 5
When Bee-Bot, Liisa and Jaan arrived to the festival the party had already started.
There was a huge bonfire and music played. Children were especially joyful, because today they can be awake all night.
People were dancing and having fun on the village swing.
But Bee-Bot got confused about all the buzz around and started to worry that still there is no beetle.
Liisa and Jaan started to dance around the bonfire with others and Bee-Bot felt very excited.

Picture number 6
Now Jaan took his accordion and started to play song.
All the small boys gathered around Jaan and started to dance.
Bee-Bot had a great time at the midsummer day festival - there was a lot of joy, singing and dancing.
Brave men were jumping over the bonfire and girls were shrieking – everybody had a great time.
Now it was darker outside because the sun had set behind a cloud, but Bee-Bot had not still seen the beetle.

Picture number 7
Suddenly all the young people went to the forest to find a ferl flower what blooms only on midsummer day night.
Bee-Bot followed them.
Liisa and Jaan were very joyful and run around when suddenly Bee-Bot fell down of the wreath.
Bee-Bot fell on the fern leaf.

Picture number 8
Then suddenly Bee-Bot heard that Jaan shouted that come and look here is a beetle.
The beetle was walking through the forest path and a lantern was illuminating the way.
Bee-Bot was so happy to meet finally its friend the beetle. They hugged and walked together to beetles home.
The walk to home was long but Bee-Bot had many stories to share with beetle about the adventure on midsummer day.
