The project "I Spy With My Little Eye" is my second eTwinning adventure. However, the excitement I felt as soon as the project started has continued increasingly up to now. Thanks to project, I have met great people, developed my collaborative skills, learned various kinds of web tools and experienced a great process. Additionally, this eTwinning project has been a great tool for my students to practice idioms in English. They have both had fun an learned idioms and different web tools with various activities during the process. Using English as a communication language during our project also have helped my students improve their language skills. Briefly, at the end of the project, I am very happy and so are my students. What else can I want? :)

Tell me and I forget, Teach me and I remember, Involve me and I learn!
I believe that we all, as teachers and students had a great journey of learning experience involving in this E-twinning project. Being a figurative language, idioms are common in all languages; it was amazing to see that my kids had great fun through exploring the similarities & differences in idioms in English and Turkish. On the other hand, they have nearly become an expert in using Web 2.0 tools. They had the opportunity to make new friends not only within the country but also abroad. I feel lucky to be working with such devoted teachers as you , my dear colleagues. Though we have all gone through hard times in the period of pandemic, I believe we made our best to achieve our goals in cooperation and collaboration. Looking forward to work with you again!

SPAIN:
First of all, I want to remark that this project had to change a little bit its plans due to COVID-19. Personally I am proud of the steps the teachers' team decided. To be involved in a European project means to be inspired by making our students continue the project from home. So, if at the very beginning they had to produce a collaborative ebook from school, the confinement made our children to design also games about the worked idioms and play them with our partners. This project has helped my students to maintain their motivation and involvement. Moreover, as a teacher, I was able to provide support and collaboration to my colleagues by sharing our different point of views and materials.

Also, students filled a self assessment evaluation. Bearing in mind that pupils sent them using Google Classroom due to the pandemic situation, I received 18 out of 20, having a mark of 7,83 out of 10 in the project. In their reviews, pupils said that the most interesting activities in the project were:

Spanish teacher's evaluation was as it follows:
Attending that we had many objectives in the project, they were analyzed as the images show (note: students' names have been substituted by numbers, so that the project respects their privacy)

Personally, to participate in “I Spy with my little eye” project has been a gift. The project helped my students get involved in English expressions as it was a game. They were able to compare some of them with their mother tongue expressions. Moreover, the fact that they felt that other students in Turkey and Georgia were doing the same, encouraged them to get engaged and create excellent materials. Also, during the pandemic time they became excellent ICT users so they improved their connections and they we were able to follow up with the project. They managed it excellently. As a teacher it was a honor to work not only with my students but also with Turkish and Georgian colleagues. This project has had a positive impact not only on my professional and personal development, but also on my learning methods.

I Spy With My Little Eye Project, which is related to idioms in English that I'm very interested in, excited me in the beginning. And this excitement continued till the end of the project. It was a great learning experience for my students. They both learned many idioms in English and created a cultural awareness by having the opportunity to compare what they learned with Turkish. Of course, in this process, they also learned to use many web 2 tools and met lots of friends. In short, we learned and had fun as students and teachers in this project. That was our main purpose: learning while having fun.

It was a great pleasure to be involved in and collaborate with the partners of the eTwinning project "I Spy With my Little Eye" for me. It provided opportunities to try and experience various web 2.0 tools both for me and my students. I preferred to take part in this project especially to make my students be familiar with the "idioms" and gain an awareness about the literal meaning of the language. I believe that our collaboration will open the doors to new partnerships and I hope to meet in new projects, so let's keep in touch in near future.
I would like to present my special thanks to the founders of our project, Serdar and Gaye teachers, for their support and tolerant manner while conducting the project.
With my best regards from
