Four years ago, I visited with my family El Peñol, which is a town in Antioquia. We went in December before Christmas. I didn’t know the town. 

I realized that we were close because I saw the biggest thing in the world, I saw “La Piedra del Peñol”. 

We stayed in Guatapé which is a town near El Peñol, and the first two days, we walked around the town.

What I liked the most was the houses, they were very colourful with a lot of drawings, they called them “zócalos”, besides, the streets were covered in stones. 

We spent one day in “El Malecón de Guatapé”, where there were a lot of spaces to eat and buy things. One day, we got to a boat and we travelled around “La represa”, it was amazing.

The last day, we went to “La Piedra” and it looked pretty huge. I was excited to go up the stairs to the top of “La Piedra”. 

When we were in the middle, I was tired, but I continued until I reached the top. The view was extraordinary, I loved it.
