Odyseus and his sailors were almost  a month in  the sea with no hope in finding any land soon. After a few days, relief consumed their bodies bacause they saw a big rock nearby, so without any hesitation  they moved towards the rock.

 But little did they knew, this would be the beggining of an extraordinary adventure.

After the ship touched the land the sailors heard some native shepherds cooking and getting ready to sleep. So, the decided to go and ask for information about the land they arrived and wether they could give them some water and food since they run out of it few hours before.

Haire! I'm Odysseus, king of Ithaki. i and my sailors are tired and exhausted. i was wondering if your kind heart woyld let us sleep here for the night and maybe give us some food and information about this place.

Haire Odysseus! Of course you are welcomed to stay for as long as you wish! This is Basque and it would be a pleasure to give you some information and food.

Let us tell you a myth about this land. The legend has it that those who provide the mysterious godess lamiak with presents will be blessed to have her help in any difficult situations the find themshelves into. Remember that while you are here most likely you will need it some day. Good night now, we hane a long day tommorow

The next day, with terror in their eyes they discovered that Poseidon had took their ship far away from them, to the other side of the land

Odysseus remembered what the villagers had told him the night before and decided to make a plan, in order to conviece lamiak to help them.

Listen! We have to make a present to the godess, in order to help us get to the ship.

We can sacrifice a sheep, i think that would be appreaciated.

After a lot of hunting, Odysseus and the sailors were able to find food the lamiak. But the day had already passed by and they had to wait for the next day.

lets hope this sacrifice will be enough for the godess. Its our only hope to leave this place as soon as possible and get back to our jorney 

the godess accepted the offering and appeared as a bright rainbow and built the brigde so that odyseus and his sailors were able to get to it.
