There once was a monkey
called Derek. He was different
to the other monkeys because
he was ginger. The other
monkeys made fun of Derek.
One day Derek Monkey got
annoyed and ran away.




hahaha
When Derek Monkey was strolling through
the jungle he bumped into a bear.
“Hello. My name is Derek Monkey,” he said.
“I am Brian Bear,” he replied.
“I have a question for you. Do you think I
look weird?” questioned Derek.
“No. It's OK to look different,” said Brian
bear.
“Bye,” they both said and walked the other
way.



Derek Monkey was walking through the jungle
and he bumped into a bunny.
“Hello. My name is Derek Monkey,” said Derek
Monkey.
“I am Bob Bunny,” he replied.
“I have a question for you. Do you think I look
weird?” questioned Derek.
“No. It's OK to look different,” said Bob Bunny
“Bye,” they both said and walked the other
way.




Derek Monkey was walking through the jungle
and he bumped into a duck.
“Hello. My name is Derek Monkey,” said Derek
Monkey.
“I am Danny Duck,” he replied.
“I have a question for you. Do you think I look
weird?” questioned Derek.
“No. It's OK to look different,” said Danny
Duck
“Bye,” they both said and walked the other
way.




Derek Monkey was
walking through the
jungle. He felt a bit
sleepy so he lay down
and fell asleep.



In Derek Monkey's dream an owl
appeared. The owl was floating on a
cloud.
The owl said in a deep voice, “Derek
Monkey, it’s not what you look like, it is
what your personalty is. If you’re a kind
and loving person you are a better
person than if you were mean and
hateful.”



When Derek Monkey
awoke he walked
through the jungle,
thinking about the
what he saw in his
dream.



Derek thought about what
the owl said,
“If you’re mean, you’re a
terrible person but if you’re
kind you are AWESOME!”
Derek monkey turned
around and ran home.



When Derek was
running home he
worried that the other
monkeys would still
bully him, so he
stopped…
