What do I want to do? Well I want to be a judge. Matthew Lopez is my name 

and my dad is my inspiration. I all ways think that my dad was really cool 

and that at his work at a restaurant he deals with allot of annoying people. I always 

wanted to be a marine biologist. I love animals all kinds of animals and all kinds of 

animals are fun to look at. One day I was surfing the internet and I saw an ad and I 

knew what I wanted to do. It just looks cool. 

    I will go to Harvard. After that I will go to the Massachusetts school of 

law. When will I go to school. I will take a break from school after high school. Then 

will go to college. 

    Why do I want this job well. I am very up tight. I love law. I want to 

leave this world as someone not a no one. Just in case if you didn’t understand I 

want to die and people to remember me.   How will I get there I will get good grades 

and get in to law school.

    That’s why I want to be a judge when I grow up. I will try my best to get 

to where I want to be. Now I have   told you what my dream job is and why I want 

it. I hope to make it were I want to go.

Crossing guard

    Why do you think that crossing guards are important? I think that crossing guards 

save lives ever day. Crossing guards are some of the most important people in the world. Do you 

think the same of them? Here are my reasons why I think they are important.

    How crossing guards are saving lives. If there were no crossing guards there would be 

a lot more accidence. No crossing guards means more kids can get hit and injured or in some 

cases even die. They stop cars to make Shure that kids are always safe. That’s how they are 

saving lives.

    Why do they do what they do? Crossing guards are very special they help you and 

millions of other people get to places that’s a good deed there kind and nice people. They don’t 

want people getting hurt because the blood is on there hands and the drivers. They have seen 

things and they don’t want to see again. That’s why they do what they do.

    What do they do? They stop cars save people’s lives and a lot of other things. They 

also get people to school and to work safely. That’s still not all they do. They take time out of 

there lives to help you and sometimes even stand in the rain and in the snow for you. That’s 

what they do.

    That’s how crossing guards save lives. Thank you for reading.   You might find a 

crossing guard and become good friends with him. He might even save you life.  

Do you like pasta or pizza now you don’t have to 

choose? Grimaldi’s originated in Brooklyn New York. The 

pasta pizza is the pizza your probably here for. It’s all 

new. What’s in it you ask? It has pasta, mozzarella 

cheese, garlic bread, bacon and a choice of Alfardo 

sauce or red sauce. Let me tell you more about it. 

    This is the best pizza ever. It feels very smooth 

and cheesy. It feels like you took a bite out of a cloud. It 

looks very smooth and shiny. It smells like heaven and 

taste like pasta. It sounds like sizzle, sizzle,   sizzle .  

This pizza is like heaven. That’s the pasta pizza.   

Hello my name is Matthew A. L.   I live in Las Vegas NV. 

The reason you’re getting this is in my school we are 

doing something called the great mail race. Only fifth 

grade classes will get this. In my class each kid was 

assigned a state and I got you. In this letter there is an 

answer sheet in the envelope. Please right back in the 

sheet.

     Now if you don’t mind I am going to tell you a little 

bit about my school. My school name is Estes Mcdoniel 

E.S. In my school we have pre kinder garden all the way 

to fifth grade. We have 538 kids in our school. In my 

class we have 25 kids. Our school colors are blue and 

green. Our school mascot is a marlin. Our school hours 

are from 8:00am to 2:11pm. My fifth grade is one that 

switches classes we go to special then to reading then to 

history/science to writing to lunch to math. 

    Here are some facts about Nevada and a riddle. 

What state has a strip and something city is its capital. 

You guessed it Nevada. My state is most famous for 

silver and the strip. Did you know that Jonny Depp is 

from Nevada. If you ever come here you might want to 

visit the strip and Red Rock. The place we call the beach 

is Lake Mead. The climate here is dry and hot. My 

community is a suburban. If you’re ever in town you 

might want to go check out the new faireswheel The High 

Roller it’s the biggest in the world.

    I’m going to ask you a few questions. Is it true 

that your state is the smallest state in the United States? 

I know a little about your state because I did some 

research. I know shocking right. Is it true that you share 

a water border with New York? Is it true that your state 

was the first state to have an open golf tournament?
