This is the galaxy where I was born.
Despite its spectacular look, I don't really like my home galaxy because here comets communicate through radiation. And I really hate that. Radiation does not have emotion. Voice has.
An elder comet told me that voices cannot be transmitted in vacuum.
Tell you son, there is no sound in this entire universe but perhaps the sound of silence.
He said in that awful and indifferent radiation.
Of course I don’t believe what he said. So I traveled through worm holes after worm holes looking for a place where I can be heard.
I refuse to use radiation. In other comets’ eyes, I am a weirdo.
And my loneliness was growing day by day.

But loneliness does not stop my pace.
After I went through an extremely narrow worm hole, I arrived at a new galaxy.
I saw a beautiful moon with grey skin and yellow halo. I saw a beautiful moon with grey skin and yellow halo.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I yelled as I flew by, hoping the moon can give me some response.
However, it was quite as usual.

I marched towards the next planet. This one is covered by yellow and brown gases. It has a giant ring around its waist.
WUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I yelled again. And suddenly a geyser burst out from the planet’s surface and nearly hit me.
Besides that, there was still no responses.
Chill out, dude! I thought loudly in my head.

I did the same experiment again and again with different stars, moons and planets in this galaxy but all ended with the same disappointing result.
Just when I was about to open the door of the worm hole, I ran into the Halley Comet!
Halley Comet, the comet rock star, the pioneer, the adventurer, you name it. He was my role model since I was a baby comet.
Is there a place in the universe where sounds can be transmitted?
I asked through radiation.
Go to the Earth, the blue planet. But be prepared, only the brave one can get through the bang.
Then he disappeared in an instant.

I have never been so eager to collide myself into a planet. If my siblings know what I am thinking right now, they would definitely laugh at me.
But I didn’t care.
All I care was the voices, the communication with genuine emotions, the chance of being heard.
Only the brave could survive this. And I was.
With full speed, I clashed into the Earth.

I was burning, inside and outside.
But, the pain is trumped by the ecstasy – for the first time of my life, I heard voices, sounds.
Bright, splendid, mind-blowing, earth-shaking sounds – the blasting, roar, the thunder.
And then I hit on the ground, falling apart.
I looked up. It was the most beautiful starry night I have ever seen.

Every inch of my body hurt. I was broken into pieces during the explosion. But it seems that those pieces still can share senses with me.
I felt that part of me was sparking in the bush. Cool breeze gently blew over my body. There is no breeze out in the galaxy. There is only storm.
I looked around. No creature was here, but me.
’Hello?’ I said in a low voice.
And I heard it! I heard my shaky but exciting voice. It was so strange, but so familiar.

Another piece of me was flying through a city. It was nothing like the galaxy where most places were dark and cold. There were lights in blue, red, yellow, orange and many other colors.
Some of them were twinkling like stars.
I heard the sounds of cars, steam whistle, people talking and walking.
Lively.
