Listopad: Lekcja metodą Webquest

Uczniowie dostali karty pracy z wybranymi linkami do stron internetowych z artykułami, filmikami oraz symulacjami związanymi ze zmianami klimatycznymi na ziemi. Lekcja "Climate Change" metodą Webquest odbyła się w pracowni komputerowej, gdzie każdy uczeń mógł pracować w swoim tempie, notując w zeszycie i tworząc szablon swojej pracy projektowej (plakat/prezentacja PowerPoint)

Dyktando Świąteczne - język angielski

22 listopada 2018, w ramach upowszechniania wiedzy na temat zmian klimatycznych, w Dyktandzie Świątecznym "Bułhaka", w którym wzięły udział szkoły podstawowe oraz gimnazja z dzielnic warszawskich Wesoła i Wawer oraz szkoły z Sulejówka i Mińska Mazowieckiego, wybrano tekst "Changing Greenland" z 25 lukami. Zadaniem uczniów było w trakcie dwukrotnego słuchania uzupełnić tekst brakującymi słowami. Etap II konkursu odbędzie się 11 grudnia, 2018.

Mark was lying in the snow. He was freezing to death. He lost his hope. Then he felt a warm hand grabbing his jacket, so he got up. He saw a funny dressed man that gave him a thermophore. Mark felt so good with the object that he got in the man's car and immediately fell asleep.

When he woke up in a some kind of a bunker, he tried to get up...

but he saw that he had no legs. Mark started screaming. Then an Asian man (probably from China) calmed him down and explained everything.

Mark was found on the Bahamas in summer. His legs froze off and Wong (because that was the guys name) helped him get into the nearest bunker. Mark was in a coma for 5 years then when the army picked him up. They were now in a spaceship flying to the nearest planet that they can can leave on.

Mark landed and started a normal life there. It was the worst thing that could have happened to him...

Life after the Global Warming Final Changes

I think that there will be a big difference in human lives after the global warming final changes. Maybe all ice layers in Antarctica and even whole Antarctica will be gone.

Water from the melted ice will reach the oceans and some countries will be under water. After that, maybe we won't see Italy, Portugal, Greece or Great Britain on the maps. In few years Poland will become a desert. Half of human population will die.

There will be no food because there will be no rain. Vegetables and fruit won't grow. Animals will die because they won't have anything to eat. I think the world will look like this:

It was a cloudy day as always in Humanagard. I was playing chess with my friends and drinking cold water because we couldn't make fire to heat it. In our city the wind was blowing constantly, water was frozen and it was too cold. We were very sad and disappointed...

But one day, when I woke up, I saw through the window...

an amazing world. There were birds flying everywhere, there were two waterfalls next to my house and the air was warm. Completely new world!

When I dressed up and walked out of my house, I saw a beautiful unicorn. So I sat on it and it took me to the Warm World. It was very bad, so I returned home. It was night, so I went to sleep. Unfortunately all this was just a dream. But when I woke up I said that it was a great story.

Karol Wickel: The Second Ice Age on Earth

In a small town in Poland (Radom), there lived a few children:Alan,Kevin and Polly. One day a few kilometers beyond the town, someone saw an ice wave that was coming towards them.

All of them needed to go to places far from the ice wave. These kids didn't want to move from the town. When they closed themselves in the basement they saw a strange machine. On the screen they saw the writing 'Ice age in Radom 50% complete' and the percentage was slowly rising.

Alan convinced Kevin and Polly to break the machine.

When they did it, the ice wave started to go some other way. It started moving to Gdańsk. Everyone was happy and the mayor of Radom gave the children medals.
