Tartalo is a very strange caracter.It is a man who has got only one eye.This eye is situated on his front.His body is very big and his arms and legs too.It is a frightining character.This monster lives in the mountain of Zizur which is near a little village in navarra called Zegama.

All the people who live in the surroundoring villages are scared of Tartalo also the inhabitants of the town of Zegama.

Tartalo is an evil being and he has the habit of throwing big rocks from the mountain.The rocks fall down the town.They destroy the houses,vegetables gardens and stables of the town.

He also kill a lot of animals.The inhabitants sometimes don't have food because of this.

Tartalo scares all the people of the town because when he is angry,he goes down to the village and he eats the children.

The parents are always very scared.They are also sad because this children can't play or study.The town of Zegama is a very beautiful town and three hundered people live there.

The inhabitants are good and hardworking people. This town has a small river that goes throug it is center.

The water of the river is very clean and it has some stones on the shore. 

In these stones some characters called Lamies tend to go out at the night. These characters are species.They have the body of a woman and the tail of a fish.

The Lamias have blond and very long hair.During the day they hide because they are afraid of people.They usually leave their hiding places at night and sit on the stones of the shore to comb their hair with gold combs

When they see a person they hide quickly.The townspeople don't know what to do to get rid of Tartalo.They have thought about going to ask the Lamias for help because they are very good.

The mayor of the town has thought to take a child where the lamias and fell him what happens and asks for help. The child went and the Lamias weren't scared.The boy told them what was happening and the Lamias told him that they would help him

The Lamias thought of going one moorning to the mountain where Tartalo lived.

So when Tartalo saw them he would go and catch them.

Then the lamias would be running toward the river with the help of the villagers.They would take Tartalo to a place in the river where there is a very deep well.

They would throw Tartalo into that well and the villagers would throw stones until they got bury tartalo.They made the plan and they got it. So the inhabitants managed to live happily and in peace.

The Lamias aren't longer afraid of people.
